  • wow your a dumbass its a f35 not f22

  • r u retarded as hell its f-35 lightning ii DUMBASS

  • Comment removed

  • Oh! This is the one that does the vertical landing thing....Ahhh

  • Its F-35 Lightning II or III not F-35 Raptor.

  • ...give people to eat.

  • Yes, the Army is not getting any of these. It started as a joint USMC/Royal Navy project

  • change the damn vid title to the name of the CORRECT plane

  • I'm sure this aint a F-22 anymore but a F-35B

  • Comment removed

  • you are very correct but the Royal Navy will also be receiving the F-35B, but then again the Marines ARE the infiltration group of the Navy, so all of the jets are shared (for the most part). The "B" variant is the only one that had the hover capability. The "A" can not hover, nor does it have a tail hook, but the "C" has a tail hook for CVN landings. And of course, the "B" doesn't require a tail hook if it can hover....

  • f-34 lighting thats not an f-22

  • its an F-35B

  • This is NOT THE F-22. This one is the F-35. Obviously, lol, when the video was published it was before f-22 was declared. ha.

I hope Canada buys some f35s.

    great video. Amazing machine.

  • dude this is the f35 not the f22..nice vid anyway though

  • this aircraft is F-35 ,is not F-22raptor,you are stupid dog

  • if u were smart enough to read, maybe youd see when the video was published...way before f-22 was declared new airforce jet. and also that ive been corrected mulitple times. go read a book and dont waste my reading time

  • Great footage but horrible label.

This is the X-35B STOVL prototype for the USMC version of the F-35.

    USMC not Army

  • that is f-35 and not a f-22 raptor

  • Haha. Military budget talk. We definately need advanced fighters. So you want to cancel the next gen fighters and only buy army stuff? haha. we have to think of the future. in a future war those armored vehicles of yours with be worth nothing if enemy fighters control the skies. its a delicate balance- we need to protect our soldiers from current threats as well as threats in the future. joint warfare is the only way to go.

  • umm...isn't that the F-35???

    im sure it is

  • it is

  • Is it possible to create a giant version of the F-22 (such that it could hold, let's say 10 people)? Just wondering.

  • No it cannot. It was not designed as such and cannot be redesigned to do so.

  • you know whenever i see jets or 747s, i wonder how much fuel we have left in the world. What's gonna happen when we run out? Think about it, millions of cars, planes, boats, you name it.

  • we'll be fighting with sticks

  • i cant imagine the amount of fuel hovering burns than horiz takeoff

  • im sure the next generation jets are going to turn out like the transformers.... autobots transform

  • i dont know if uve been paying attention dickhead,....we already discussed my mistake so go comment on someone elses videos

  • fucking idiot wanabys

  • Hey dickhead, when you want to say something on youtube do you proofread over 51 comments before saying it. I like to go online occasionally, but have better things to do than worry about hurting the feelings of a jackass like you. Go fuck yourself.

  • who the hell are u talkin to? n wat are u talkin aabout?

  • Talking to you jackass. Quit telling everyone they're stupid for not proof reading sixty six comments to make sure someone else hasn't told you this isn't the f22 before they do. If it bothers you so much just take off the ability to comment on this video.

  • The F-35 has nothing to do with the raptor. It is not a modified F22. The F-35 has three variants the f35a,b, and c. The a goes to the airforce to replace the f16 and a10; the b goes to the marine corps to replace the f/a 18's and av-8b's, and the c goes to the navy to replace the f/a 18's. The army is not getting one nor have they ever operated fighter jets.

  • im its not gonna replace the a-10 they decided to keep it. the f-35 just cant do its job as well as the a-10 can.

  • Did they decide to keep the a10? I'm glad to hear that because the f35 can't do what the a10 does.

  • That's not true. Eventualy the A-10 will be phased out. However the warthogs are undergoing an avionics and weapons delivery upgrade which will designate the aircraft a C model. Keep in mind the A-10 was intended to loiter over European battlefields and kill Eastern block armor. The Russians knew this and designed things like the ZSU's and MANPADs. In response the A-10 was designed like a tank. The F-35 will face significant threats but unlike those expected for the A-10C. The Hog runs in my fam

  • not true, army aircorps

  • We could use more Stryker Brigades. The typical Marine/Army rotation is 12-15 mo in-country,6 to 8 months home opposed to the AF rotation 6 months on airbase and 2 years at home. More Stryker Brigades would help extend the time we get at home if we had them. Thats my humble opinion. I don't see the money going to where it is most needed. I have to beg for money to send soldiers to MOS qualification courses before I have to ship thier butts back to Iraq. MAJ Russ Heaton add 2 of 2

  • The Cougar costs about $800K each, but so far less than 400 are in theater and they have been in production for two years. Expensive toys are fun but the Bradley IFV (Best protected vehicle in quantity use)is no longer in production as well as the M1A1. When we loose a tank or Bradley they don't get replaced, which is shameful. We are also short of alot of parts we need to fix our junk so it keeps you from exposing youself to sniper fire when you try to tow it back to the FOB. add 1 of 2

  • F-22 costs $178 milion and contributes nothing to my fight. I case you are unaware it is the Army that is doing most of the fighting and dying along side our Marine brothers. I wished I could get you folks excited about the cougar armored vehicle. It is the most ugly pig you have ever seen but it has saved lots of lives.I HATE TELLING A PARENT I KILLED THEIR SON TODAY BECAUSE HIS HUMVEE HAD HILBILLY STRAP ON ARMOR. part 2 of 2

  • I am a an Army Officer. The F-35 JSF is primarily designed for ground support.(the J means joint)This means the congress will not let billions of USD get wasted on other things. While the F-22 may be pretty and the JSF lugly. I can tell you this: nothing is more beautiful than a pair of Apache gunships inbound or an M1A1 Abrams comming to put a 120mm HEAT round in wall when you are pinned down and Haji controls most of the buildings in front of you and behind you. part 1 of 2

  • as if u guys cant read or something, or just plain stupid....people already discussed that n i realized i was wrong. i dnt need you tellin me junk i already know.

  • This is the F-35B Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). The VSTOVL version is being developed for the RAF and the USMC. The Army does not fly fixed wing attack platforms, and they will not in the future. The USAF has an agreement to provide Fixed Wing Close Air Support (FWCAS) to Army units.

  • thats not an f-22

  • actually i think u feel stupid for not reading wat others posted. ive realized wat i did but i dnt feel stupid i still love th aircraft. douche

  • USA People are ugly too :D

  • I bet you feel stupid now that evryone knows its an f-35, lmao

  • yup, i know. at the time i was watching videos of both.

  • hmm no f22 anywhere, just the Marine f35, good try

  • just a little joke what i said down there, just seems alot of you americans seem to be a little UK negative, personally i like americans, ive been to the USA 3 times and enjoyed it very much, glad we're allies.

  • tell him again please, the F-35 is a fuckin international jet that will replace harrier for both US and UK. Both countries worked on the F-35 so dont bother trying to own up to it.

  • UK people are ugly lol

  • so you yanks finally figured out how to hover huh? Not bad, your only about 40 years behind the UK.

  • 40 years behind the UK? HA you must not know what a helicopter is..lol

  • i think he's refering to the harrier? meh

  • I know Im messin with him, sorry for the confusion

  • I'm sure that you were probably being sarcastic, but in the event that you were was a partner in serious (and to get some facts out)....

The US Marines use a version of the Harrier too, just that the Harrier isn't stealth, and it's not a supersonic jet either.

So yea, the F-35B will be replacing US Marine, Royal Air Force, and Royal Navy Harriers

  • ah whatever, we got better teeth anyway.what are flying war machines compared to dental health anyway. teeth kicks jet's ass period

  • better teeth? doubt it, we get free healthcare here. ya big floppy donkey cock.

  • yeah i got a dick as huge as a donkey ya 'batty boy'

  • i bet u show it to your mum aswell, thats sick.

  • great comebak, wat r u fucking 5 years old? Dumb ass "wanker"

  • the f-35 sure looks ugly. i cant understand why the f-22 looks so good either.

  • hell ya u cant fuck with our new f-22 so kiss my American ass Biatch!!

  • u and ur gay eurofighter can go crash in europe. Dont insult american airplanes. F-22 bish!!

  • you do know that is not a f/a-22 Raptor right?

  • you know the name for the jet is The Lighting II

  • as has been mentioned it is an F-35. However, that vid was still off the hook, thats some serious thrust vectoring type shit. Man that was crazy cool. Good work.

  • lol... in the end the JSF stands for joint strike fighter... >_<

  • well somebody doesn't know their facts... This is the f-35, and this is the navy midification. The Army will not be receiving it.

  • actually, this modification is made for the Marines, while for the Navy, the F-35 has a larger wing span, and the Air Force version is the same as the marine version only with out the VTOL capability.

  • this is the eurofighter, duh.

    .just busting balls

  • We don't need it; ground and pound is our game. HOOAH!

  • yes the army will get a version of f-22 tard

  • shut the fuck up tyagis

  • It only made for killing

  • In 1970, while on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, I witnessed two of the first AV-8A Harrier jets perform a brief aerial display at a USMC Airfield in South Carolina. It was a unique and eye popping experience, to say the least. The brave young pilots who lost their lives during the long process of developing such a marvelous aircraft should be memorialized through an Act of Congress. Semper Fidelis!!

  • your all wrong its a wraith from starcraft

  • so i made one little mistake.

  • Someone knows thier aircraft real well!

  • thats why dumbass the hundreds of comments already discussed that mistake....read...i dont need u to remind me

  • that's not an f22, it's the f35 - the harrier replacement

  • o really? n u think i dont know that by now...as if u one comment compared to the other hundred is gonna make me learn even more

  • @SlikBakDAPIMP it takes one comment at a time to add up to 100.
