  • @loki1066loki

The best beer in the world is german beer, but eire is great

  • @loki1066loki Totally agree with you, except for the beer : best beers are belgian :)

  • @MasterFuckingYoda Perhaps 'best stout' would be truer. I'd have to disagree with you on the Belgian though, Czech or English (esp. Kentish) all the way

  • @kungfuasgaeilge Have you ever tried a trappist ? If not you should ;)

  • @MasterFuckingYoda

I tried 'Westmalle' a few years ago, 'twas nice enough, good kick to it, full of flavour. Bit pricey for a small bottle though, if I remember correctly. Can't beat a good Shepherd Neame for availability, price, and flavour though (in my books anyway)

  • @kungfuasgaeilge Ah Westmalle, my favourite. Sure a little bit pricey, as for the flavour, well, that's up to the drinker ;)

  • @loki1066loki

  • Did anyone catch the act right before this on the gig rig in Connor Square? It was myself playing the Irish harp while waiting for the opening parade to start! It was so cool to be an American musician who plays Irish music, playing for the first time in Ireland, and to do it at the Fleadh Cheoil in Tullamore right before the opening ceremonies in Connor Square!! It's a memory I'll relive until I die!!

  • Wow!

  • amazing¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Brilliant

Here in Argentina people behave that way on Saint Patrick´s day

    No as good as there

  • Feckin' Bhodran players.......they get into everything ;)

  • This is brilliant! I didn't hear about this. How do they manage to sound like a small group in a pub even though there are about a couple of thousand (obviously the musicians nearest to the mic would get picked up the most, but still) 5 *****!

  • THE NAMES OF THE TWO FIRST SONGS???

  • The second one is "Father Arthur's top coat"

My mother God rest her soul, used to sing it to us

  • Tá sé go hálainn - amhrán ...for the whole world.

  • amazing :)

  • you'd think that with that many instruments playing all at once, it would sound really crappy...but this is really nice. i like it.

  • Actually, what we ear is the music played by the band on stage with the PA (fiddle, accordion, piano)...

  • True, but it would have been a lot of fun. And that the point anyway,

  • "Racist" has become such a common epithet as to be almost meaningless. It has become generic hyperbole.

Hungary,we love you Irish! Sorry im not learned english,i hope you understanding

,how i what writing!?" Kiss" from Hungary!

  • the only thing i don't like about traditional irish music is that there is so much rivalry involved in the trad circles. It's almost as if they are more focused on out bettering themselves than actually appreciating the music itself...

  • looks like mighty craic!!!!

  • great idea
