My Bichon does the same thing, only when I try to pick her up when she's comfortable and with someone she likes (like my dad). But then that person tries to pick her up, and she wags her tail. Bichons are the best. Although I AM biased :)

@punkrawkchick06 I miss my Bichon too, he passed away March 1st 2008 at 11 years old of cancer. He was like my brother, he was there with me since i was a kid. Ive been desperately looking for another purebred Bichon for months, but its just virtually impossible, all I ever find is mixed breed.

she also expects her play time. she will be 2 on dec 31, we are her 3rd home, and she has a home for the rest of her life. bichons are high maintenance dogs but they are worth the care!

I taught her to "say please" the way Snoopy does for treats, but she HATES doing it, so she usually whines when I make her do it.

But if she REALLY wants something, she'll come up to me and "say please" very nice and still..... if she wants to say "pretty please" she puts her head down on her paws.
