Very soothing and absolutely amazing. I am an artist and dancer. I find that in sand art there is the combination of the two. I do not like sand when on the beach, but I love playing arond wiyth it. Strangely enough, my paintings evocate sand painting evnthough I am no sand artist. (yet!) I more and more offten think I should get down and do sand art too. These tables are very costly and so is good sand. It's heavy material. Are your videos faster (accelerated) then when you perform? Thanks

The table is a regular size but you have to replace a glass or a Plexiglas on top.

Any kind of sand is o.k.

We use a fine sand which we collect from the beach.

@pzykow ok i think this is the answer your looking for first off use a glass top it wont scartch as fast as plexi ,, second it must be a light table and paint the glass with a transperant white ,,, or a white that light can shine trough,,, you can use coloured lights or several lights ,, or even the lights that change colour for effect

@narasemanga tibeten monks destroy their sand art, look up mandalas and your mouth will drop, we just had tibetan monks come to our school and they created a sand mandala that symbolized compassion, and then when they finished it they destroyed it and spread the sand around so that they can share there art with the world.
