  • verdigos an idiot thy do this for free and he says it sucks rly good if u ask me so unless u can do better be quiet

  • SHin-Ryu-Kwn best shoruken every thank you Ken for making it The most deadly version shoruken

  • : D oh Ken is awesome! I know people who main like Guile and Ryu but when I tell them I main Ken they are like,Why? and all I say is Shoryuken is very deadly and for my play style much much more espcially when my opponent decides to get close and personal,I like Ken because he is good for keeping people away and when you wanna get serious,Rising Heat Shoryuken :P

  • This song started and I immediately wondered why it was sucking so bad. Then I saw it was from ocremix. Transposing a few notes does not a remix make.

  • Ken 4ever

  • could you put up the download link

  • Attack me if you dare, I will crush you!

  • I used to be a Ryu player, but when Super and then Alpha arrived, I took the Ken school. This is the school of the rising heat Shoryuken... going aggressive on the Shoryukens and interruption kicks. It symbolizes Ken's good willed passion, something that is not like Ryu's dedication or Akuma's brutality. The Shoryuken carries a deadly risk though, leaving him open to counter attacks. Ryu and Akuma became absorbed in the hadouken.

  • There should be a Capcom Vs game with Ken, but no Ryu.

  • SHORYUUUUKEN!!!

  • The eeeevil that men do.... wait! :|

  • I realized I am Ken.

  • it's far so ugly .......

  • I wanna say how I truly feel to you guys singing this song but I worry you might want to hurt me... Then again 'attack me if you dare, I will crush you.

  • @goanyways come down champ haha

  • @Danseloves aha lolll you can't be calm, you have to fight! ;)

  • 4/5* Pretty Cool, thanks for posting.

LMFAO @ all your comments (realize you're Ken) LOL you guys are hilarious!

    Also, regarding fighting style(s): WGAF!?

  • so epic..... ill never forget the day i realized i was ken

  • calm down there your not ken dont down grade him like that your gonna offend some people by saying that

  • lol

  • Ken means strength in Japanese, you guys. It's not a corny song about being Ken Masters. lol Takes nothing to realize your strength.

  • Oh thank for that tid bit.

  • Ken means "fist". Can also mean "punch" or "strike". I don't know if "strength" is another meaning, but Japanese words do tend to have a lot of nuances of meaning, based on how they are used.

  • The ken song.

    Wow

  • 2:46 im loving it, great work

  • this sounds like it was writen by a 5th grader lol ghosty

  • Why would someone realize that he's Ken ?

  • perhaps there is a little ken masters in all of us????

    yeah..... good question. lol

  • @bienvenidoz My friend and I decided that the lyric should in fact be "Realize your Ken", as in the possessive "your", and that everyone has "a Ken". It's Engrish as hell, and this singer is an English speaker, but damned if "Realize your Ken" isn't an AWESOME phrase.

  • @bienvenidoz Ken is japanese for Fist. :P

  • @bienvenidoz Who wouldn't want to realize they are fuckwin awesome?

  • @bienvenidoz i guess the people he beats up

  • Love this song. The lyrics are kinda weird, but the guitar is awesome.

  • damn thats awesome i need to download that or something

  • great song

  • i takes nothing to realize YOU'RE ken!!

  • i didn't know he had to realize who he was, lol

  • man u guys look up this suff just to be a genius huh?lol no offence from what im hearing between camilowish and thepsychoguy is like stuff u looked up before u came here like i said no offence it just seems like u guys did to be geniuses

  • Wow you guys know detailed character history on SF....Pretty Cool

  • they looked it up first before they came here to act like a expert lol

  • LoL true eh , im sure they're copying and pasting info from Wikipedia... I just recognized their sentence structure

  • lol i bet they did

  • The only sentence In copied and pasted from wikipedia was the one that says that Ken masters is an Ansatsuken master, and I looked it up because ThePsycoguy disagreed with me, but I knew since long ago that Ken and Ryu's fighting style was not Karate, but Ansatsuken =PPPPP

  • ya i knew they did martial arts with gouken i just forgot what it was called but from hearing guys it sounded like u guys were looking stuff up on wikipedia lol

  • True, there are 2 Ansatsuken masters, which are Ryu and Ken, well... Gouki, but I dont know if he wanted to kill everyone is a master.

  • yes well i think ansatsuken is just another version of karate.there karate uniforms give it away and they were both trained in japan, even vega who doe,s ninjitsu comes from karate, anyway YOU ARE KEN lol

  • It is stated in many movies and comics that what ryu and ken do is KARATE.

  • nOT A mASTER....Gouken is the only master....maybe Akuma too. but not in the common meaning of the term.

  • Akuma is the new master he in the alpha movie he killed Gouken and took his Prayer/sutra beads. and until Ryu can learn to control his power he wont be able to become the new master.

  • I always liked the symbol on Akuma's back. After Ken, Akuma is probably my favorite character.

  • My ears can't resist this awesome song!

  • Hey, that was on last . fm

  • i can't find this song on limewire can someone help me out here?

  • this song kicks so much ass! :D thanks for uploading you rock

  • great song :D

  • Songs great, stop arguing about the fighting styles. Wikipedia both charactors if you don't know for certain.

  • Actually, Ryu and Ken's style is based on Kyokushin but they changed it to Shotokan in the US. It also is supposed to have elements of Tae Kwon Do, Judo, and I think Kenpo. For Akuma, there is also Koppo (or I could be mistaking "Kenpo" for "Koppo" possibly).

  • I'm sorry but you're mistaken, Ken Masters is a master of a nonviolent variation of Ansatsu-Ken that is often erroneously referred to as Shotokan Karate, but don't worry, we forgive you =PPPP

  • I appreciate the interest in my comment, but what I claimed is that it is BASED on kyokushin, which it is. Originally until SSFIIT, their style was Kyokushin. With the introduction of Akuma, they started using the term "ansatsuken" (although in context they were referring to Akuma's style, not Ken or Ryu's, as they are NOT ansatsuken fighters contrary to popular belief).

Basically, Ken and Ryu use a style that is a combination of karate, judo, and TKD, not an ansatsuken, based on Kyokushin.

  • I'm sorry but you're wrong again, Ken and Ryu were trained by Gouken, and Gouken, along with Gouki (Akuma) and Go Hibiki (Dan's father) were trained by a powerful warrior named Goutetsu, who mastered a technique called Ansatsu-Ken, stripping it from it's dark side (Satsu no Hadou). Akuma and Go hibiki stole the secret of Satsu no Hadou from Goutetsu and then parted their own ways, Akuma then killed Goutetsu and later killed his own brother Gouken too, all of this with Ansatsu-Ken

  • First off, Go Hibiki was a muay Thai fighter, and was not trained by or with Goutetsu. "Ansatsuken" in Japanese is used to refer to Akuma's style ONLY, not Ryu, Ken, or Gouken's. Everything I said is backed up in the Street Fighter Plot Canon by Tiamat, if you care to look it up. There's also an article somewhere on capcom-unity about it that also backs me up. "Ansatsuken" refers only to killing martial arts and is not an actual style in and of itself.

  • Again, wrong, the original storyline states that Go hibiki, Gouken and Gouki were all trained by Goutetsu, that's why Dan's style is so similar to Ken and Ryu's style, also, the original storyline states that the one who defeated Bison in Street fighter II was in fact Chun-Li, and right after that, Akuma shows up and kills Bison, although I don't know why does Bison appear in SF IV since he's dead... and they do refer to Ansatsuken as a fighting style, with a light and a dark side

  • Also, They refer to Ansatsu-ken as a fighting style that can kill an opponent, but the fighter chooses to kill or not to kill, like Gouken taught Ken and Ryu, like Goutetsu taught Gouken, Gouki and Go Hibiki, but as I told you, Gouki and Go Hibiki stole the secrets of Satsu no Hadou from Goutetsu and then parted their own ways, Go Hibiki went to fight Sagat and Gouki went to challenge Goutetsu, Go Hibiki died in the hands of Sagat after ripping Sagat's right eye off and Gouki killed Goutetsu

  • One last thing, when Gouken found out what his brother had done, he challenged Gouki and defeated him, but didn't kill him, giving him the chance to have a rematch, Gouki went away and trained, then challenged Gouken again but this time he won, and Ken witnessed the whole thing, but here's the twist, it appears that Capcom has a surprise for all of us SF fans... GOUKEN IS STILL ALIVE!!!

  • Kyokushin???Not true. Where did you read this crap?

  • The Street Fighter Canon Plot Guide. If you look at old SF1 and the original SF2 guides to Ryu and Ken's fighting style, it is listed as Kyokushin Karate. With the introduction of Akuma, it was changed to a nameless style and Goutetsu (the founder of their now-style) was made up. But this was all done in retrospect. Originally, it was just Kyokushin Karate. That's still the style that their movements are based on. "Ansatsuken" isn't even a style, but a description of a style's use.

  • Where can i find this guide? But Kyokushin....sounds too weird. Kyokushin style is surely used by SNK character Ryo, his father and all his team, but i NEVER, NEVER heard on any site comic movie ecc. that Ryu and Ken did Kyokushin. In fact, if you look carefully, you'll notice that their techniques resemble more an "ordinary" japanese karate rather than Kyokushin....

  • Just google "Street Fighter Plot Canon Guide," it isn't hard to find. And Ryo and Robert use KyokuGEN karate, a reference to Kyokushin. Both Ryu and Ken's style, and Ryo and Robert's, are based on Kyokushin. And I always thought their style looked more like Kyokushin or knock-down karate than standard traditional karate. They stand, move, and punch more like boxers on most punches, rather than the traditional chambering. Makoto from SF3 uses a more traditional karate style, I think.

  • Googled and found. In Ken Masters Bio it clearly states Fighting Style: Gouken's Ansatsuken mixed wit Kiko-ho techs. Ansatsuken IS a style, not a term. A fictional style composed of Karate and elements from other arts such as Taekwondo and Judo. It is written everywhere,. Ansatsuken. No trace of Kyokushin....

  • Under Gouki's bio:

Saiki (a Japanese gamer with expert knowledge of SF canon) said until SF2 Ryu and Ken's style was Kyokushinkai karate, a derivative of Shotokan, that I learned is a full-contact style with

considerable focus on strenuous training and philosophy.

    A couple paragraphs down:

Technically, ansatsuken should probably be considered more a level of

achievement than an actual fighting style, then.

Gouki's bio goes into more detail about their style than the others.

  • Yup, so it's Saiki's thought, never confirmed by Capcom. Maybe we should just stick in mind that it' s a fictional style with no references in real arts....

  • Also, keep in mind that ansatsuken is ALSO used for Gen's style, and they use two different styles! If ansatsuken referred to a single art, then how can it be used to refer to such diverse systems?

Also, the term is used in lots of Japanese fiction. Hokuto No Ken uses it also. Double Dragon used it. It just refers to any style designed to kill, or built to a lethal level by the practitioner.

  • Kyokushin means "Ultimate Truth". Kyokushin-kai is an actual martial art.

    Ansatsuken means "Assassination Fist".

  • ken's taekwondo skills are great

  • ken and ryu fight with one style of karate ... name is goju ryu ... one of the bests styles ... and have skills of judo too ... -.-'

tae kwon do ??? -.-' ... no coments

  • get the fuck over yourself, its a fucking game

  • hahahahahahhaahahah fuck yyou gaymöking aller

  • they dont do gay kwon do. its karate.

  • hey dude i did taekwondo myself ;) it's definetely not gay

  • i hate it. lol.

  • @sgstyle

Agreed. I'd say wanting to hug around and roll around with other men is a lot gayer than just kicking them in the face.

  • @sgstyle It depends. It's certainly not getting anywhere in the Martial Arts world and the only real good version of TKD is the old style. Muay Thai is prolly the best style to learn. :) Not saying TKD is bad, but it's not as efficient as MT.

  • @AFGalwayz Bullshit , ive been training muay thai for about 10 years , I fought a TKD fighter , one of the hardest ever

  • @jiujeetkunedo the guy was probably just ridiculously better than you. at the same skill, muay thai has a much bigger advantage over TKD

  • @AFGalwayz Puuuhlease bro it shows you don't know shit about martial arts , coming on here and dissing styles... Already it shows you know dick all ... therefore I won't argue with you... And I took on a TKD Black belt you dipshit , so don't yap your mouth when your a little fucking nerd behind a computer screen shit talking on youtube message boards

  • @jiujeetkunedo lol muay thai has an advantage over TKD. in a pure striking match of fighters at the same skill level, you would be delusional to pick the TKD guy to win. muay thai guy clinches, he wins. he has better hands and a more complete striking arsenal.

  • @AFGalwayz Dude are you stupid??? I never said I lost the bout , merely said he was tough , of course my middle kicks and low kicks would disturb his kick combinations and distance , I simply said he was tough ... Either way don't bash Martial Arts by saying Gay Kwon Do you little tool

  • @jiujeetkunedo so your agreeing with me that muay thai > TKD. okay thats cool.

if that tough guy knew something more practical, he would probably be much more dangerous than a tough guy who knows TKD...

  • @AFGalwayz Stop disrespecting styles , joing pro wrestling if that's the case

  • Wow, talk about desperate for attention, particulary on the internet.

  • Karate kicks ass. As a kid I achieved the yellow belt.
