@alpacks Ever heard of Cessna Citations the most popular private and business jets. Most people buying American Made Citations come from Europe and Love them. Cessna Has built more general aviation airplanes than any other manufacturer.

Can't compare, the Citation X is smaller than the Falcon 7X. And much cheaper.

My flight instructor here in France is also pilot for a private company and qualified on both Citation X and Falcon 7X, and he says that on his opinion Falcon 7X is more advanced, reliable and give him more pleasure to fly than the Citation X.

if a quadrireactor plane eat more fuell than a bireactor, no any quadrireactors can be sold in market for "same" in absolute ...

But for crossing ocean quadrireactor is better for security with same fuel eating, you need just to make the same increase like a bireactor with 4 reactors that you don't need too make work at maximum ...

technology can regulate the need of increase to moderate fuel eating

@dmimcg No, they caught up with Gulfstream. Check out the G550 and the coming G650, it is going to set a new standard. Having flown the DA50ex I can say the French build a great airplane. I do like 3 engines for crossings but Rolls Royce engines are rock solid.

The G650 has the ability to simulate the environment it is in so that the pilots see on a screen what they can't see out the windows. Also has a night vision system for landing in the dark and in fog dassult doesn't have that. Other than looks tell me one thing that the 7X has thats better than the G650 or something that the 7X has and the G650 doesn't have.

Now they've taken billions of our tax dollars and succeeded in getting the accounting rules changed so they don't have to take losses on their books, and bonuses to top level executives are back at 2007 levels. They're a drag on our whole system but they parade around in private planes like they're king. I say let them fail.

- Landing over 2262 ft... vs. 3000ft (shorter field landing)

- TO 5505ft vs... 6000ft (better balance field TO)

- Max pay load full fuel 2985 Lbs... vs. 1800Lb (better full fuel payload of more than a 1000Lbs)

The only things better are MMP 0.925 vs. 0.90, LRC 0.85 vs. 080 and Max Range 7000 Nm it but fuel consumption and maintenance are much lower with the 7x!!!
