I agree. You should have played it without that artificial midi guitar sound using only drum backing and/or cranked up your amp. Also you're sitting on a low couch and it makes your posture pretty bad, so it's more difficult to play with relaxed technique - and it shows on your picking hand. And do I see some kind of economy picking going on there? Paul Gilbert favors alternate picking...
