it seems that spears are still quite powerful im an axe user myself since wkc1 but i may try the class out

They are more of a Tanking class this time around, other classes will easily outdamage them. In WKC1 they could do everything.

The King weapons are the best in the game but are also really hard to enhance, and they won't be out for a while.

I am a Spear user on the American servers, what Spear are you using? Looks like the stats are 397atk, 50 mp but what are the two stats at +25? Also was it hard to enhance you have 5 of them :P

Strength and Defense, and yes it was easy to enhance. Takes 21 Spearsage Emblem to get a single spear to +20.

Are there higher GR equips that come later with the gr increase?

How hard was it to go from +10 to +20 on the equips?

Highest equipment now requires GR30, it will definitely go higher than that in the future. For +1 to +20 enhancement, it would take 21-23 of the rarest mat to max out an armor or weapon. Difficulty will vary.

i just noticed that the mp is gradually increasing... just like the safe effect of heal drop.... was that a weapon skill or something else?

It's a new spear skill in that came in the class patch. Similar to heal drop, but difference is it last 2 minutes long.

Also, from what I've seen, light armor seems to be the preferred tanking gear. Is this because of the faster turns, and that light armor generally gives HP bonuses?

Yea I like the speed and magic resistance, heavy armor and shield seems sluggish to me. Plus I can also deal better damage in these because all my light pieces have dex or strg on them.
