I don't remember the specific details, but I'm sure the canfield heads had a roll to play in the compression

@cameljoe04: The car sold on EBay quite some time ago. I'm afraid I don't know too much more than that it's a 289ci with a Mutha Thumpr cam and 11:1 compression with flat tops
