  • Wow....Just....wow.

Looks like something NASA would come up with for a lunar colony.

Truly impressive, and I can appreciate the amount of work and effort involved.

    Good on ya, mate.

  • what kind of piping is that? do you use glue?

  • GROWRELENTLESS dotcom has the best grow systems. Check them out

  • im soo fuckin jealouse looks very nice cant wait till i have the the money for a sweet set up like that!

  • this is a Heath Robinson vert grow from the king of vertical google Heath Robinson mini vertical too see more

  • OMG there is a god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like ur grows. really creative. im planning on doing a vertical grow and i was wondering which one is the most prouctive/ easiest to maintain. the three that i have in mind are; 1. the vertical hanging rockwool slabs. 2. the system in this video. 3. or the system in ur "mini hydroponic vertical" video. thx for all the great ideas.

  • Hey, nice, great to see Heath Robinsons systems on here.. Awesome grower is H. what he doesnt know about growing , probably isnt worth knowing, super guy too. Heres to coffee at the garden centre

  • you got to have a degree in something

  • Dude, you're the master.

  • Damn I like that

  • Pure Genius... all from 1x 600w ... happy daze

  • when i win the lottery and can build like that, I will! lol!

  • any suggestions with types of strains should be used in this system ?

im guessing short plants , but im clueless

any help would be much appreciated

  • hi coletto86

The song is by Be Bop Deluxe – Adventures In A Yorkshire Landscape

  • yo growbro nice work!!!whats the name of this song?

  • I am in the UK the pipe is available from all builders merchants and places like Wickes and screwfix. I would imagine it is available throughout the world as it is standard 4” soil pipe. You can use 3” pipe successfully but the trouble I had when using 3” drain pipe is I couldn’t find fittings which were self sealing they had to be glued, if you don’t mind gluing 3” pipe works well.

  • at about 3 weeks into flower I usually trim the bottom third of the plants which helps form better buds higher up the plant. In any case you should remove any weak growth.

Its approx 5 foot tall, and they have been in flower for a week.

  • The Brown pipe is standard soil pipe the type which is attached to the toilet and is usually buried underground.

The plant I am using is the Viking an old positronic strain which unfortunately is no longer available.

The plants should end up around 12 to 14 inches tall.

I change the nutrients every 2 weeks, I am using Vitalink at an EC of 1. This design could be easily scaled down to a 3ft internal diameter

  • The whole system runs in a full condition the water level is toutching the bottom of the net pots. The pump runs 24/7 so in effect what we have is similar to deep water culture but the main difference is the fast flow rate and I never leave a gap under the net pots.

The small res you see in the pics is the only res there is, because the tubes are full of water this means I can get away with using a small res.

t holds 86 plants, and the feed is at an EC of 1.0

  • The 600w bulbs are the most efficient thats why I use them. On this grow I will be using the Sunpulse Metal Halide bulbs throughout the grow not the one shown in the pics. The furthest point away from the bulb is 2 ft so obviously as the plants grow the distance to the bulb will reduce.

I have a couple of ways of supporting the buds I have hooks all the way round the top of the vert so I could tie them up or I can simply fit a screen or netting for them to grow through.

  • The idea is very simple, the feed from the pump enters the top tube and gravity lets the nutrients flow through the tubes until it returns to the res. The different thing about this design is the tubes are running in a floded state. I have set the level so the nutrient solution is about 1/4 of an inch above the bottom of the net pots.

This level controll is achieved by a simple dam built into a collar on each level,

  • this time around I am using 4" soil pipe, a 4000 litre per hour pump, and one 600w bulb.

The internal diameter is 4 ft.

The build used 27 = 45 degree double sockets

    4 = 90 degree double sockets

5 = Double socket pipe couplers

    35 = pipe clips

and approx 8 x 3 metre lengths of pipe.

  • octogon pattern, 4x4 footprint. get in and out? pull the vertical bulb out, reach inside, its not that tall, 12 or 18in spacing between tubing centers

  • The best I can make out the pipe is in a helical pattern so the nutes flow around the circle and down to the next level. What I can't figure out is how you get in and out once everything is connected.

Love to see a 360 degree pan around the room!

  • his black rose seeds here in cali

  • The pvc is UK type septic tubing that has internal O rings at the joints

    The tubes are mounted level.

The flow rate is adjusted at the pump by an overspill valve type T that has a ball valve on the return side, into the reservoir.

Man is a master at EZ to build high output systems!!

    Wish I could get

  • He puls better than 3lbs dried. An amazing watt/gram ratio. Un touched by most every grower.

The tubes stay flooded because they are internally dammed at the sleeve just before it descends a level. The waterfall effect, over this dam, aerates the nutes.

if the power goes out, the system does not drain and can stay suspended for days with out harm. Runns very low ppm 800's I believe. has a nute change schedule but it escapes me at the moment.

  • wow a garbage bag of nug how much did you yield off of that

  • at what degree did you tilt it?

  • veryy goodd !!!! Brazill

  • wats name of song

  • iv finished building a replica to this set up and is running this very moment

i have 30 + plants in there and they're doing very well

a few plants seem to have either a deficiency or something i cant explain

the bottom leaves are crumbly but the rest is fine

i was thinking maybe too much wind circulation as iv been having the fan on during lights out

just a very important question i want to ask you man

you know how this is dammed

do you open the dam right up when you see roots

  • @GTRwill4everLEAD or is it always suspended in the fluid ?

any help would be much appreciated

  • amazing setup havent seen any like it that compare to yours, how big of a closet/room does it fill up? Oh and what was your yeild with that 600 watt?

    Thanks, Keep it green!

  • @GTRwill4everLEAD oh alright well stay in touch man i wanna know how well urs works out this is what i plan on doin as soon as i move so im curious to see how urs goes and what it finally costs ya at the end and of course what it yields for you at the end haha

  • absolutely incredible, do you have a rough estimate of what the entire setup cost?

  • Short stocky Indica strains work best in vertical grow systems, something like northern lights

  • @Brashtheonion I would say diffrrent tbh.

Well from my xp indica's never did all that great on a vert to bushy , where as a nice sativa has loads of spaceing to allow light to get threw nice and easy.

  • What strain do you suggest for this vertical sys?

I have some problems with ED ROSENTHAL SUPER BUD, because they grow to big..

  • I envision an entire house completely integrated with a grow system, just like this. I may use the cooltube hps instead, but all the same grown vertically. AWSOME

  • any1 here wanna argue that 1gram per watt theory? cos im guessing (just a stab in the dark) that more han 600grams were acheived off this.

Also, i think, the only people who get 1 gram per watt are stupid people, who would use 2 or 3 600w for half as many palnts as this

  • Comment removed

  • just a few question ?

did you ever encounter any problems using this technique ?

and last but not least , did you use a air stone at the very top of the pipe net work ?

or was it a actual flood and drain ?

im just confused to how this could work with out the water being oxidized

this is seriously top shelf quality at its finest

    you are seriously the MAN!!!!

  • its absolutley butifull wow. well made it must be a plumber wow. construction is well done its an art piece the dude who made that got my fucken respect damit man its art at its finest....... well done

  • CrazySmooth its a 600w hps

  • @Brashtheonion no its 600w mh

  • Is that a 1k bare bulb?

  • this is highly impressive im seriously considering shelling out the coin to do the same setup only for 1kw. can ya help me out ..

  • i could seriously worship you mate , good stuff !!!

  • greatttttttttt

    thanks for sharing

  • looks really professional¨!

    good stuff (^.^)

  • Oo the good stuff
