I was at this concert in the pit and it was the best concert I have ever been at. Tool did such and amazing job in AZ, I hope I can see Maynards new band Puscifer someday. That would be awesome because Puscifer is more like Maynard

Maynard does so well in AZ because he lives there for one thing, but he doesn't feel so pressured performing like so in big venues like L.A. or Chicago or something like that. This band is incredible, i always see them in Vegas or Phoenix when they tour.

You are so lucky that they played well. I saw them in manchester and they did such a bad job. Maynard was extremely late. He barely sang. They played terribly. I drove 6 hrs to see them. I can't believe it was a waste of my time. I should've gone to arizona where they actually wanted to be.

I felt the same way when I seen them in Reno, Nevada in 2007. Maynard was so lame. I vowed to never see them again, because like you, I drove about 5 hours to see them. Of course, when the next show came up, I went to see them. Blah. But this Phoenix show more than made up for that Reno show in 2007.

Either Tool fans have gotten too old to hang or the new fans care too much about getting a steady shot on their iPhone camera to actually have a decent pit (a little of both?)... that crowd looks lothargic, no love at all...
