He taught me this exact set of chords when i was his student at the U of Ghana in 2000. I didn't find out he was a legend until i came back to the US.
Travelling through Ghana and West Africa over the last 23 years I met a lot of very good musicians, Mr. Ampomah was devinitly one of the outstanding musicians of our world.
Oh thanks for this expedition... I have already ran like three different highlife songs through these chords.... Like Soala Temen, Iyamo ma Pami and All for Me... Its just so sweet...
More like the old Cutlass Dance Band High Life even though, the xenophobic rejection of opinion outside Africa ought to be weighed up before making a rating. This track is English though, how often is African music heard in English? Thomas Mapfumo and other like minds dislike singing in a lingo not their own. Perhaps we ought to leave it to Africans to make the rating of this video. Note how the music fits well into the village scene, such rhythms also found in the best Highlife music.
yeah dat's nice, from charles obeng akosa

Does anyone know the title of this song. Is T.O. Jazz the composer? It's beautiful.

In the the subtitle I forgot to mention that singer Kojo Menu is still with the Local Dimension band, since the 1990´s !
