Missed you guys again! We were in Las Vegas for the holiday week, on base Monday + Wednesday. Saw the typhoons take off. Vvery loud, nice looking aircraft. Our son lives in the Waterfall area. On two evenings we saw 4 or 5 helicopters of the Kiowa and Loach type headed towards the Sheep mtns. Search and rescue exercise? Hope to return in July 2010 hope to catch you then.

i think wee have typhhoons here at lackland in san antonio. i was sitting down with my dad on a bench and a plane flew by. i thought it nwas an f-16 but it didn't look like one and my dad was like "i don't know".

The Typhoons are on a general exercise i reckon...i'm from the UK so i see them alot...when they first came into service the USAF turned down an invitation to have a mock dogfight with them
