@Draw4You Hello...I lived with my Uncle Vic as a young teenager in Encino, California. He must have rubbed off a little. Lol! He was marvelous, when reciting poetry and speaking the words of Shakespeare.

How fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing this. I wasn't aware of Mrs. Davis' assessment of Mr. Buono beforehand, and her subsequent apology. It's ashame that she had to use a word such as "revolting," even though it wasn't directly to him, but at least she was big enough to admit when she was wrong. This to me is one major difference between Bette and Joan. Joan would never have admitted she was wrong.
Thank you so much for shaing this with me - I loved Victor Buono as a child and now, having re-discovered him as a large lady on the wrong side of 50, I admire him even more: an American Peter Ustinov.
