Looking at the series again on Xbox live marketplace and i see this could have been a great show. The writing and acting are right on ABC i can't believe ABC canceled this show. the rather put on reality TV garbage.

If you like Defying Gravity, give Stargate Universe a try, pretty much the only other sci-fi character drama on TV since Caprica was cancelled.
