That dog doesn't look thin for 3 weeks out on floating wood, and he has a curly tail. The one on the ship has a straight tail and isn't so big. Is this a 'feel good' story to distract from the bigger picture? The story yesterday had a dog that looked more like a Golden Retriever running around on the same roof???

This is such a sweet story. Those rescuers are absolute princes amoung men. We so so many disheatening stories in the news these days, something like this just reaffirms man's potential for kindness and heroism. Bless the workers and I hope the dog lives a long and joyous life.

But it's special when they put extra efforts to rescuse one dog who survived at sea by holding on debrises It's proven 4 no matter of what it took, every life counts & worth 2 live. Also showing kind hearts of recuse crews & are 2 b admired 4 doing their duties. I saw clips they ate dogs in VietNam &China, not in Japan
