Wait, the electricity is actually generating the sounds? Or are they hooked up to a song and programmed to stay in sync with it?

@Chaozreepr The electricity is so hot and brief that it actually generates sound waves as it passes through the air, altering the frequency that the bolts are released alters the pitch of the note. So yes the tesla coils themselves are making the sounds.

OMG...AMAZING. I love lightning. I missed a fireworks show in Vancouver one night but was happier to see lightning bolts in Burnaby. And as far as the sounds go; Super! ....YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!
