Part 4 is the last true friday movie. After part IV when Jason comes back the films started to have a comedic overtone. You went to the movies because you just wanted to see how Jason did the cast in no longer was the feeling of fear apart of the equation and people started rooting for Jason as the series lagged on.
Part 3 is the best friday but it's funny because the end scene is the only thing I don't like about it. It is it's only flaw because it was just put in there to have a tie in to the original. It doesn't make any sense. The only way to justify it is to write it off as her insane mental state.
@onijordan was it sweet mary or something, i ain't seen it but despite the premise it looks really creepy judging from the trailer, looks worth checking out
I loved April Fool's Day.The thing I liked about it was for it's time period,it was totally 100% original, simply of course because of the ending.Of course it would have fit better in the Scream era mid-90's films more because of the twisted ending.,which all of those films in that era had.I totally agree with u,was there anything more scarier/creepier than watching a horror movie in the dark in the basement?By the way I was just wondering were u a fan of Friday The 13th Pt. 6 or Elm St. 4?
I certainly consider Friday the 13th theoriginal the scariest of the Fridays'. Mrs. Voorhees is scarier than Jason oh yeah I went there :D I may be in a minority but I take pride in that. Kinda surprised Maniac didn't make your list but great list regardless :O)
my 10 fav slasher would be 10 The Prowler 9 The Burning 8 Friday The 13th 7 A Nightmare On Elm Street 6 Childs Play 5 Scream 4 Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974 3 The Town That Dreaded Sundown 2 Maniac 1 Halloween 1978
i commented on this a few days ago but it seems to have disappeared or something. anyway, you managed to surprise me a bit with some of the choices. i thought i knew you!
1337 list witch was well worth the wait. def. some nice movies on it. also pwnage job at the pro descriptions/story's of each film. only 1 word can describe this.
Awesome video and some great choices sir. Perhaps I may do one of these 'top 10 slasher films' sometime. Nice to see April Fool's Day and My Bloody Valentine on there.
@ramboraph4life I'd be very interested to see your top 10. You tend to have different choices than most. Yeah, April Fool's Day and MBV are staples as far as I'm concerned. Thanks, brother!
Excellent list Ryho. Def agree with Friday part 2, had such a creepy feel but an awesome slasher film. I've never seen "The Prowler", or "Black Christmas" (crazy right?) but I'm gonna try and get my hands on a copy of each.
Cool list. I don't really care for the prowler or friday the 13th part 3. My bloody valentine is great and one of my favorites. I just got the special edition and am happy I got it for that extra footage. keep up the good vids.
@slasherfan1995again Yeah, like I said in the video, Friday the 13th Part 3 is a personal thing, mostly based on nostalgia and all that. I really do like The Prowler, but it's cool if that's not your bag! The special edition for MBV is pretty sweet, indeed. Thanks!
sorry for me not having what most people would consider to be proper taste I like jason X and Jason goes to hell. Hate message will be blocked enough if there nasty enough.
@slagarcrue85 All of those styles of horror films are fantastic as well, this was just a list of slashers. I doubt you'll receive any hate messages here!
Well the soccer mon wrote big al back a while go how was I supposed to know it would be safe. I' got called reatard on a playthrough video of mario party for mentioned my video view stasics.
I couldn't narrow it down to ten. I'm my opion the other half of the horror franchise spectrum the non serial killer films poltergist films gremlins critters lake placid stuff like that don't get alot of proper respect these days. But the serial killer movies with the exception of april fools have tones of people that love them. Plus I like alot of the shitty sequel in the serial killer series.
New My Bloody Valentine is a great movie like the original.

@pizowell The real crime here is both of our blatant lack of Valentine or the always forgotten Bloody Murder.

@RyHoMagnifico To be honest, I have a soft spot for Valentine.
