  • why did the studio fix have a cross on it?

  • i dont really enjoy the full coverage mac gives. dont wanna wear a mask. the face body foundation doesn't give that much coverage, but u really need a set power after that.

  • OMG I use macs mositer blend and i was using the 190 brush due I was thinking it was also for cream foundation... You said to use #169 can i still use the 190 brush?

  • haha you are great! I love how you say "welcome to enkore, this is Koren!

  • is the silica in the studio fix powder the same ingredient in mufe hd foundation?

  • hello Enkor,

I hope I'm not rude, just times and ask yourself:

    How like in your face?

I have large pores, and many surface irregularities, and the acne so holes (can say), the facial image about what you have, from the look.

This is still the one I have combination skin, oily and dry.

I just do not think the Faundation the offsets, and my face can look smooth. Do you have a tip may request?

    Thank you! Greetings from Vienna

  • WomanXXXX I have a mac powder faundation, the mineral, and the studio fix fluid I've also tried. To be absorbed by my pores, and all around is nothing more.

(See the man can mak up in the pore:OThe powder looks again as if I would be 100 years old, and the skin was completely dry, even though I have oily skin / dry ?these are the problems which I have to struggle with the whole faundations.:(

I also tried mac primer, and refiner zone of mac, nothing:(Therefore, my question

    I thank you very nice!

  • love how u say ;so; lol love u xxx

  • how come i cant find some of the foundations on the mac website? do u think theyll hav it @ CCO?

  • for haters of korin! Go and F**K your selves! losers! He use to work for MAC for 8 years! that's why he got items MAC professionals only have.

  • Fagget

  • @mrcandelario22 Says the man that is looking at a Foundation video.

  • Thank You so much! I've been looking for a demo of all the mac foundations in one :3

  • hi korin! i think your studio fix foundation is fake. no mac product ever comes with a sponge only in some collections.

  • @ilikespoofs i buy studio fix foundation n it comes with a sponge inside

  • thanks..very helpful

  • can u use the studio fix foundation for concealing under eye circles?? or is it not really for that ?

    xx

  • Hey Korin,

luv your vids, I have very oily skin and very large pores around my nose, cheeks and forehead, I want that smooth skin glowing look without feeling all greasy 2 hours later. What foundation and concealer do you suggest I use and what application method? Do they make primers for oily skin? Im very good with makeup and do it on the side, but cannot tackle this issue yet.

  • Primers create a barrier between your skin and makeup and that seal should help prevent skins oils from seeping to the surface. In that sense, any primer may help to control oil. There are several people, however that complain silicone based ones leave them feeling greasy so you'll have to see what works for you.

  • i miss hyper real =( ... i loved the dewy finish. good vid.

  • what do u prefer on foundation to cover up acne scars like holes in the face..please

  • try their new full coverage foundation. its basically the studio finish concealer in a big compact =]

  • Use a silicone primer

  • I love how you smile so hard that you make yourself shake!

  • some of these foundations are discontinued

  • can you give me advice for doing makeup/foundation to help minimize wrinkles for maturer ladies?

  • at 5:29 don't you mean 109? 169 is a angled brush

  • Comment removed

  • Hey Enkore I was just wondering where you got the plastic container you were using with your liquid foundation and the studio mist. i hate using my hand thats y! please let me know thanks! :D

  • I got Studio Fix Fluid in NW15, but its too dark. I wish MAC made some lighter foundations.

  • Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 is lighter & matched me a lot better then NW15 - and I'm pale as a ghost! :)

  • I think I will try that, thanks so much :)

  • whats those crosses on your pressed compacts?

  • yea, i wonder that too!

  • where can u get mac products?

  • Try the website

  • maccosmetics . com

  • you can get its at macy's too.

  • does the make of the brush make a difference in terms of the result of the makeup applied and our skins? =)

  • So I've heard a lot about the Revlon Colorstay being very similar to the Mac Studio Fix and I'm running low on foundation, but trying to save money (recession!!) and wanted to know if you recommended this cheaper foundation. Please and thanks!

  • It's so hard to find a foundation that really match my skin ton..

  • what would be best for underneath my eyes, i have dark circles and i dont like the concealers

  • hi! My skin is NW20, and i have oily/dry skin...its kinda dry in the winter but oily around this time. What foundation do you suggest for me? Please respond quickly..! Because im going to go t the MAC store tomorrow and i really need help! Thanks enkore! love your vids! :)

  • Love the videos x

Can i ask what foundation you would suggest for someone with oily skin, but mostly in the t-zone, who has mild to moderate acne?? Thankyou!!

  • you can use any foundation -- its the Face Primer you need in your Tzone prior to foundation. a Mattifying kind is best like Smashbox Photo Finish clear is great for oilies.

  • what is your favorite foundation by mac for a full coverage one a erson with combonation skin?

    thanks =)

  • I like either studio stick, or studio tech.

  • hi, i have a question i watched so many videos about foundation application and i dont know if you are suppose to pass your jawline when applying foundation or your not suppose to ?

  • I would say yes you should..

I always blend my foundation from a little behind my ears and down my neck..

  • Liquid?

  • Hi Koren! I would like to ask if you can recomend a few foundations from other brands than mac, because Mac isn't available in my country and I really hate buying foundation online because I can't try it. I have oily skin and a few acne scars (fortunatley no more acne), so what type of foundation would you recomend? Thanks for your time.

  • give an idea on what kind of brands are available in your country...

  • Hm, well... I'll try sorting them alphabetically: Boots, Burjois, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Dior, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, La roche posay, Lancome, L'oreal, Make up forever, Max Factor, Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel, Sephora, the body shop, too faced. That's almost everything there is (might have missed 1-2). Also, what kind of powder do you recomend? Thank you very much. Btw, I love your tutorials (you made me buy like 17 brushes from which 10 are mac).

  • Makeup Forever foundation then - theyre really nice.

  • Hey, I have a little problem I have acne oily prone skin I always moisturize my skin before apply mineral or liquid foundation and i use a oil free moisturizer but throughout the day i notice dry patches have formed around my nostrils mainly and the corners of my mouth any suggestion please ?

  • apply extra moisturizers just in those area. That will help. You can also mix a little moisturizer with your foundation and apply just in those areas.

  • would you recommend studio fix powder plus foundation for oily and acne prone skin?

  • sure - powder will help absorb the oils. You might want to use a cream concealer just for the acne areas, then use the [owder foundation for more coverage.

  • Hmmm, I'm not sure if my comment postedl. I have super dry skin, especially on my forehead. I use ponds cold cream and cetaphil cream to clean/ moisturize, if that's any indication. I live in a tiny town, there are no dpt store around for upscale quality makeup. Can you recommend a good drugstore foundation w/ med coverage for dry skin? I can't seem to find a good one. Thanks in advance Koren...

  • I am in such a quandry w/ my uber-dry skin. I have yet to find a drugstore foundation that works for me but I'm nowhere near a dpt that sells higher quality. Right now I'm using Cover Girl, both the light and the heavy coverage versions and I am not at all pleased. Mineral Powders seem far too dry for my skin *especiallly the dry spots on my forehead. Do you have any suggestions for drugstore foundation for dry skin??

  • Try mousse foundation from drugstore brands that might work better for you

  • You are such a doll to answer all of our questions this way...really! I think I'm going to splurge on my foundation and o with the Mary Kay Cream Foundation again...it was wonderful for me and is much less expensive than MAC or some of the other higher priced brands with the same quality. Gotta splurge on something'. Right? heh heh.

  • you shoul have your own tv show about make-up!!! thanks for the help

  • this video was made waaayy before lightful came about. MAc lightful is technically not a foundation, but a skin highlighter, radiance booster. You can try Studio Stick, its the most camera friendly and buildable from light to full coverage.

  • Wow I've literally spent 4 hours just watching your videos today and I can't thank you enough for all the advice that you've given. I didn't realize all the things I've been doing wrong with makeup application (mostly foundations) that have to do with sanitation. Its no wonder that I've been getting really alien like breakouts and now I've figured out that its from the bacteria from my brushes and foundations. Thank you so much Koren, I have hope for my skin now!

  • I LOVE how you take the time to answer our questions whenever you can! Even for as big as you are on YT and overwhelmed with messages everyday I'm sure, you still strive to help us!

  • awe, thanks!

  • *Oh no my first commment didn't add!*

    Hi Koren!

I have a question about my face routine. I use Clinque Step 3 Lotion (gel), then I apply my MAC Prep + Prime and then Studio Fix Fluid SPF in NC15 with the 187. I've been doing this for a while but recently I have been noticing my forehead will look cakey or dry whilst the rest of my face is lovie and dewie. Why is it doing that and how can I stop it??

  • yes it did

  • Hi Koren! I have a question about my foundation routine and etc. I moisturize my face with the Clinque Step 3 Lotion (gel), then I add my Prep and Prime, and I wear Studio Fix Fluid spf 15 in NC15 which I apply on with the 187. Recently I've been noticing my forhead looks cakie and flakie as if it's dry but it shouldn't be. Everywhere else on my face is fine and dewy looking. Why is it doing that and how can I stop it? Can you help?

  • thats typical during the cold season -- you will need a dry-skin moisturiser just for that patchy area. Eucerin have one designed for flakey patchy areas. Use the Clinique Step 3 the rest of your face.

  • i dunno if this is bad.. but i mix my nivea creme face moisturizer with my studio fix fluids... is that really bad? :S

  • thats ok - it ok to mix moisturizers with foundations.

  • ohhhh and sorry , i have oily skin also

on my nose and forehead and sometimes chin.

    x

  • heya!

great vid but i was wondering...

i have like olive/tanned skin and i dont have many scars and i dont REALLY like having a heavy feeling on my face all day but i have like lighter cheeks and a slight darkness around my mouth and chin area :\

what would be good for me?

    pls w.b

    xx <3

  • if you dont need coverage, then you can probably just use Select TINT, or even just Mineral Skinfinish Natural

  • hi koren,im going to a wedding and u kno how the face makeup starts to look eww because of the heat and sweating. can you tell me a good foundation, primer(the whole face makeup) stays on and looks like natural skin but covers acne and what brushes to use. please because acne is a pain to cover without looking cakey. love~p3ace~thankx

  • I use Studio Stick on weddings specially in the hot and humid months and its buildable without looking too cakey. Smashbox Photo Finish Clear is a great face primer too as its designed to be photo friendly. You can use the 190 brush on those products.

  • another question, i have studio fix fluid if i use that is it okay or well i get what i don't .

thank you i love your videozzz<3

  • if its hot and humid, fix fluid will not withstand the warm moisture

  • great video, studio fix caused me to break out really bad do you think the studio tech is the same?

  • Hi my wedding is in April and it is an outside wedding. Between the studio tech (cream) and the stick which one would you suggest for me. I have never used primer but I do notice when I put foundations on they fill in my pores making them look bigger. does primer help this. and what is a good inexpensive primer. If it helps I have one video up on my page if you want to see what my skin looks like. O and I have combo skin with freckles. Thank you so much. Hope to here from you soon.

  • definitely go for the STICK - its the most camera friendly, heat and humidity friendly and buildable. Great for weddings. Definitely use a primer if you have large pores.

  • this is realy helpful (:

  • Thank you so much!!! I apply the moistureblend foundation, using the 190 and just KNEW there must be a better brush to apply it. Now I know it's the 169. Thank you!!

  • Hi Koren :) I was just wondering if the pink kabuki from coastal scents could be a good option for the studio fix powder. I currently use a foundation brush, but i'm still in search of the perfect brush. thank you!

  • Hi Koren I need help. Recently I started using make up and I am finally going to get a MAC foundation. I have oily sking but I want my skin to look flawless but not over the top because I am 13years old. What foundation do you recommend?

  • this was soooooooooooooooooooo amazingly helpfull! u dont know, thank you so much (:

i was so confused by all the different kinds! :P

    x

  • definitely use a Primer, it helps a great deal. For foundation, definitely look into mineral foundation, its lightweight and looks more natural.

  • Hey Koren :) Hope you can help.... I have dry eczema prone skin, so quite allergic and sensitive. That, combined with my porcelain complexion, makes it incredibly hard to find a good foundation.

Do you have any foundation suggestions I could try?

    Thank you :)

  • Mineral foundation might suit you best. Many people with skin conditions like your are changing to minerals. Mineral Liquid Foundation have vitamin infusions that helps too, and most are Shea Butter based, that is great for eczema.

  • what type and brand of foundation do u recommend for skin that becomes oily after having makeup on for about 30 minute??? water base or oil free??? and whats the difference btwn the 2??? thnx

  • you want a Skin Primer - this will help control and seal in some of the oils your skin produces. If you have oily skin naturally, use Oil Control Lotion instead of regular misturizers. If its oil-free, its most likely to be water-based. So, its either oil-based or water-based

  • Thanx hun!!! ill definitely look into getting the face primer and oil control lotions =)

    smooches,

    Nicki

  • Hi Koren,

I am a MAC virgin and was hoping you could suggest a foundation for me. I'm Korean and I have combination skin. My skin is light and I have slight discoloration but no noticeable acne/scars. I wanted a coverage that was not too heavy and looked natural (a lil dewy even). I was looking into studio fix fluid in NC25, Mineral Skin finish in Medium, and the spf 50 primer but wanted your opinion. Are there any other foundations/primers you would suggest? plus, which brushes should i use?

  • well, Fix Fluid sets to a matte finish, so for Mineral SatinFinish Liquid is better if you want at sheen dewey finish. If you use liquid makeup, 187 stippler brush is best.

  • Hi Enkore :D

Love the video but I have one question that I really need to know... Does "oil free" mean that it won't break you out? Because I can break out pretty easily and is there any way of ensuring that a foundation won't break me out? I really like liquid foundations and need at least medium coverage

    Thank you :)

    Love from England

    I love your accent :D

  • No, oild-free doesnt mean it will break you out. Pretty much any makeup ingredient can cause breakouts depending on how sensitive your skin is to a particular ingredient. What helps too is making sure the products you choose in non-clogging.

  • HI KOREN!

i have a question. i have dry skin & i use select moisture blend foundation. i always make sure to moisturize before and i even bought fix+ to use over my foundation and powder aswell to set it. but for some reason i cant manage to get my makeup to stay on all day. it seems as tho only after a few hours my makeup is hardly visible what can i do about this? should i try a different foundation. also, what is ur fav. long wear concealer?

THNX SO MUCH 4 UR TIME! HOPE TO HEAR FROM U SOON!

  • you can try using prep & Prime skin to help your foundation last longer and sticking to the skin. You might also want to try Studio Tech, and Moistureblend might be too emollient for you.

  • ...and my all time long wear concealer... Ben Nye Coverette or Tattoo Cover.

  • Thanks Koren :)

  • Pls suggest me a foundation (any brand) for my face (haven't used any makeup/foundation , so far ;). My face is kinda dry (iam an indian ) and is there any foundation(mac/or any) which mosturises yet gives that dewy matte fresh look and doesnot make my face look patchy and stays long.. would really appreciate ur valuable suggestion cuz i think u are the best . pls help !!!

  • hi koren,

i don't have acne, but i do have scars that it left behind, dark circles, and my pores around my nose could use work. i'm an african american with yellow undertones, and i was wondering if you could help me with what foundation would be good for me. i would like to give mac another try because it seems like it has good coverage. i don't know what happened at the store! lol i want full coverage that does not look cakey. any help??? thank you for your time, and videos!

  • hey meghan - definitely try to use a skin primer first. That will help mask the dark circles caused by the scarring. Then for foundation, try MAC Studio Stick or Studio Tech - it will give you coverage and not cakey looking. And its buildable.

  • the deep acne scars, you are going to need to conceal first. You might want to try HD foundation too. Many brands are now starting to carry HD foundation - this tends to be effective in covering large pores.

  • Hi Koren,

I have really oily skin, with large pore, acne and deep acne scars. I have used Bare Minerals for two years, but I have noticed that it is breaking me out lately. I have tried MAC studio fix fluid before, but even with Smashbox Photo Finish it tends to show all of my pores and scars.

Please help me choose a good foundation for my skin :(

    Thanks

  • I am considering getting Studio Fix Fluid (im nc35 with select spf 15) would i need to get a lighter color since Studio Fix is thicker and it looks way darker?

  • its best to try it and get a proper swatched. But for the most part its usually the same color number code. It might look darker on the bottle, but once on the skin, it will look different.

  • when i try to put on powder foundation it makes my dry skin super noticable, it makes me have little flakes around the bridge of my nose, how can i fix that?

  • do you moisturize 15 mins prior to any makeup application? thats important if you have dry flaky skin.

  • If I add strobe cream to my foundation will I get the same effect as hyper real?

  • yes, that will do the trick.

  • try Tinted Moisturizer from MAC, or Mineralized SatinFinish.

  • Question! I've never really been big into foundation. My skin isn't horrible so I never really felt the need for it. I would wear powder sometimes but my skin is sensitive and dries out really easily. I don't want a strong matte finish but I want to look like I have flawless skin without drying my skin out. Do you like a liquid foundation would work or something like select tint or face and body (because of my dry skin)?

  • sounds like all you need is like a Tinted Moisturizer - like MAC Select Tint w/ spf.

  • Mineralized Satin contains natural ingredients, infused with vitamins that are great for the skin, and sets to a satin-sheen finish. Hyper Real gives a light refractive DEWEY look, its not all natural ingredients.

  • ~lol~ I notice all of the included sponges seem unused in you flip compacts. Hmmmm, I wonder why? ~lol~ I'm the same way, actually I tend to pull them out and toss them in a drawer then use that compartment for a pair of earrings or something if I am putting it in my purse to go out later or I use it to tuck away other small things like a bit of cab fare in case of emergency. I mean, what mugger or pick pocket is going to check your make-up? :D

  • that is such a clever idea! A secret compartment for jewelry! Thanks for sharing!

  • Hi koren, would you recommend studio fix fluid for normal to dry skin?.. i run out from my mineralize satin finish and i want to try ssf or hyper real... than you!! :)

  • if you like a matte finish, then SFF is great. Just make sure you moisturize at least 15 mins prior to applying if you have dry skin.

  • Hi enkore! thanks for the video, it helped me a lot! I have studio fix powder foundation, if I use MAC 190 or foundation brush to apply it to my face would I get better coverage then just using a normal powder brush?

  • yes, you will get more coverage than using a normal powder brush. You can also use like a flat-top buffer or a kabuki, you will get a nice coverage using those.

  • wats the best for covering acne?

  • you can either conceal it using Studio Finish, then you can pretty much use any foundation after that. If you dont like to conceal, Studio Tech gives the most coverage. There is also Studio Full Coverage, but its really thick and can be cakey.

  • Can't the Select tint & Studio Tech foundation give a dewy look too? Also on Youtube, someone uses their 109 brush for foundation instead give an aribrushed looked (said to blend well)..any thoughts?

  • not as much as Hyper real would. You can add a little strobe cream to tint and tech, and it will give it a dewey finish. I love using 109 on cream foundations, it does give it a nice flawless finish, much like 187 with liquids.

  • from all of the mac foundations which one do you think is the best???

  • Studio Stick - its the most camera friendly, heat and humidity friendly, and its buildable.

  • Hi koren,

can you help me with foundation, i am a redhead and tend to have dry skin. i like to have medium coverage.

  • Hi Korean, love your videos, can you recommend a foundation for me, im a redhead and tend to have dry skin, thanks.

  • definitely check out Mineralized Satin Finish if you like liquids, or Studio Tech if you like creams. It is best to get a proper swatch to that the MA can match your tone.

  • Hi Koren, thank you sooooo much for your informative videos. I learned a lot from them. You are really good at what you do! I am looking for a foundation for myself and need advice. I usually use the Select Tint moisturizer and would like a foundation that gives just a little more coverage yet a natural look. My T-zone can get oily sometimes. What foundation should I get? Studio Fix liquid, Mineralized SatinFinish, Hypereal, or something else? By the way, what is a "dewy" look? Thanks!!

  • if you want just a little more coverage than a TINT, then definitely go for the Satin Finish. Fix Fluid and HyperReal gives more coverage and can feel cakey if youre not used to heavier foundations.

  • Hi Koren, thanks sooooo much for your informative videos. You are really good at what you do! I ususally use the Select Tint NC 30 and now I am looking for a foundation with slightly more coverage w

  • I super love your tutorials. I'm living in a tropical country, its humid not to mention i have an oily skin and have lots of open shouting pores... is mineralized satinfinish powder is okay to use? hows the coverage? i want coverage but with "no-make-up" look appearance. Im currently using Studio fix powder, however it settles into my pores and its cakey at the end of the day. I use the buffer brush, u think it'll make a difference if i use the 190 brush?

  • sounds like you will need to use a face primer prior to any foundation you choose. The primer will coat and cover your pores so that the foundation doesnt sink and settle into them. For foundation, mineralized makeup by nature is water resistant. So definitely ideal for hot humid weather. I like using the 190 on Fix Powder more so than a buffer brush.

  • hey koren!!! i love your videos. you are great!!! :) i have a question..i have normal to dry skin.. i tried studio fix powder but it didnt work for me..soo..i wanna get a cream foundation. whats the difference btw mositureblend and studio tech? thank you have a nice day xoxo

  • Moistureblend is infused with 2 different kinds of moisturizers, so its a bit more emolient to apply and ideal for those with dry skin. Studio Tech is a little bit more firm, much like the consistency of stick makeup and will give you more coverage than moisturblend.

  • Encore,

Glad you're doing well and recovering. Quick question I picked up the studio fix fluid and I've been using it with mineralize skin finish with it. But I've been having separation and oil issues. One MA recommended that I set my foundation with the MSF, then touch up with blot powder, but then another MA suggested to get rid of the MSF all together. What should I do? I really want the 187 brush, so I thought of exchanging the MSF for the brush. I'm in desperate need of your help!

  • not sure by oil issues - is it your skin that is oily and affecting the products? If thats the case then you will need a Skin primer first, then your foundation then the MSF. Try that instead of getting another powder.

  • Thanks Enkore!

I actually did try the select sheer pressed powder the other day and my issues have been resolved. One of the MAs at the MAC counter said that some people have had that happen with the MSF and SSF. Strange, but now I'm a happy camper :-)

  • yeay! woo hoo!

  • thank u so much for the advice i really appreciate it.oh and is it ok 2 use a powder 2 set or what would b the best way 2 do that.

  • yes, always use powder to set cream/stick/liquid foundation. Any transluscent ot Blot powders works great.

  • what would be the best foundation for some 1 with redness in the nose and cheek area.and wants a smooth coverage.and how good does it hold up in warm weather?

  • hey bree - definitely check out Studio Stick foundation. Its the best so far in handling heat and humity. Its buildable so you can cover redness, and less on areas you dont need as much.

  • hey koren

i realy want to have a cheap foundation brush

but i think coastal scents doent ship here to guam..... So do u know any other website that might help

    thanks

  • hey jen - i messaged you in the other comment. I hope you got that.

  • hi koren. you should try soaking your sponge in water. the blending goes a lot easier. love essy

  • Hi Koren,

I'm new to your subscription list and LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, thank you very much. I'm 54 and have darkish circles under my eyes. I just bought myself contacts and want to do all I can to cover the circles. I heard about using orange lipstick on the circles and then applying concealer, what do you think about this method, and can you recommend anything to solve this problem.

Happy 4th of July, and thank you!

    Helene

  • hi Helene - have you watched my Concealing Undereye Dark Circle video? That might help ya. Just look it up in my vids list.

  • Sorry for replying 3 times! It kept saying it hadnt posted and I didnt want you to think Im not grateful for your help! =) stupid computers lol x

  • can i use 187 on studio stick foundation?

  • its acievable but takes a bit of time and effort. Its easier to use 190 on studio stick.

  • i think 187 doesnt really grab stick foundation that much and also harder to blend. i use it for liquids n powders ;)

  • whats difference from NC and NW

  • hey Kay - NC mean Neutral Cool which has more of a yellow undertone. NW is Neutral Warm which is more red undertone. So depending on your skin's undertone, determines if you are either an NC or an NW

  • Thanks for the quick and helpful response! Im getting married next May actually so the foundation stick sounds perfect! Im going to buy one tomorrow =) Keep up the good work, i love your videos! Thanks again Koren! x

  • Congrats on your engagement!

  • Thanks for the quick and helpful response! Im getting married next May actually so the foundation stick sounds perfect! Im going to buy one tomorrow =) Keep up the good work, i love your videos! Thanks again Koren! x

  • Thanks for your quick response and great advice! Im getting married next May so the foundation stick sounds perfect, im going to buy one tomorrow =) Thanks again Koren! x

  • Hi Koren! Great video! I found it very informative, I have combination skin which is normal everywhere except the t-zone where i tend to get a little shiny, i use studio fix fluid which works great for me but i wanted to try to studio stick foundation as its portable...would it suit my combination skin? im scared incase it makes me too shiny/breaks me out, thanks in advance for your help! =)

  • Studio Stick is actually great for all skin types, and very commonly used in bridal looks. So, it should be ok with your combination skin. Also, you might want to use a little Prep & Prime Skin, just to matte the oily zones a little and that way when you apply the foundation your skin looks even, and not as combo looking.

  • hi koren, was wondering how the 187/188 would work with the select moistureblend foundation. plus, would it be a step better if i sprayed fix + on the brush before i used the product?

love your videos by the way!

    thanx,

    sherry

  • 187/188 is really best using with liquid foundation. I find it hard to get coverage using creams with those brushes. If you're using moistureblend, the 109 brush is best, it does give a smoother more even application to moistureblend.

  • Hi Koren~~~

Hm..i have a oily skin.and some acne....Can I use the Mineralize satinfinish foundation???

  • hey Yuna - absolutely. Mineral SatinFinish is infused with vitamins that will help your acne problem, and the mineral ingredients helps with the oils your skin produce. Give it a try.

  • Hi Koren~~*

Hm..I was wondering..whats the difference betwen Select SPF15 and Studio Fix Fluid SPF15

    Thankss ^^

  • hi Yuna - you will get more coverage from Studio Fix, and it also sets to a matte pwder finish. Select has a little sheen.

  • I have Studio Fix from MAC, but always wanted to know how to achieve the dewy look. The different kinds of foundations MAC offered is neverending and going to a MAC store to ask a busy salesperson can be intimidating. Thanks again for the awesome foundation info. I'm rushing out to buy HyperReal SPF 15 & Mac 187!

  • if I have semi-oliy skin and i want a liquid foundation. what foundation should i get?

  • hey dancecmasta - definitely check out Studi Fix Liquid. It sets to a matte powder finish, and it absorbs the oils your skin produces.

  • Thank you for all your information! I actually found you through pursebuzz. I'm a novice to makeup and find that the both of you are the most informative on YouTube. I love your style and your intro is so much fun!
