I did play donkey kong, and I liked the music, and I love classical music and Jazz. But this interpretation is really ridiculous, seriously. They'd do anything to make money.

@lovemuffintop30 I mean using a big orchestra is not enough to do great music. Arrangments are cheap, musicians don't play together, sax chorus is really poor… The only point of that is that they play DK, that's the only reason people like it.

I'm sorry but I prefer to listen to real great classical music or jazz, or to listen to the original DK score in its context.

This is only my opinion, but I'm angry that so many people think they hear great music while listen to that !

Obviously, you never played the very first Donkey Kong, where Cranky Kong comes up on your screen when you start the game. He plays the DK theme very slowly (like the orchestra), then Donkey comes crashing in with his boombox :)
