ummm really its not that bad...... these kind of songs are ment to be sung in a place like this....the echoing is fine. I agree it is kinda fast for my taste, but the balance is REALLY good.
Geez! I'm outta breath just listening to it. Lovely balance of voices -- but galloping along kinda defeats the beauty of the music and the ambiance of the echo-y hall! Alas.
No es necesario hacer ningún comentario sobre la obra. El coro muy bien, aunque parece que tiene prisa por acabar la pieza, y es una versión muy "atropellada", con ritmo algo agobiante. Creo que necesitan más relajación previa y durante la interpretación.
I think this is one of the better performances on YouTube. The voices are really good. For my taste this is a little too fast but still it is very beautiful. I don't care about the conductors technique if this is te result. I give it 5*!
I think with the speed perhaps the acoustics don't help. I'm really smiling at the conductor's technique. I can't help thinking how good he would be at guiding planes back into their hangers...
The ensemble blend is very fine! The beginning should begin a bit more pianissimo. As each part enters, singers should effect a crescendo carefully, so not to predominate the texture, working from pianissimo to forte in mm. 11. Tempi is a matter of personal taste, taking into consideration the space acoustic, text and competence of the singer. Personally, I take the first 11 meas. Piu Lento - this assures the listener that the dissonance is intentional and not a mistake. At 12 piu mosso to fine.
It sounds very good, but you really shouldnt attack the opening as much as you did. It's marked 'pp' for a reason. Also, try letting the phrases grow more. Although at the speed it was at, I suppose its a tad difficult to take crescendos easily.
i've never seen anyone conduct like that before... I would agree that the tempo is to fast, however, I guess that way it's harder to catch wrong notes.
no he visto nunca a nadie conducir un coro asi... Pienso que el tempo va muy rapidamente pero en esa manera es mas dificil detectar tonos equivocados.
I don't think it's way too fast - I've seen the Tallis Scholars sing this and it wasn't much slower. And this lot are good! I've listened to the other videos of this piece and the sopranos are flat, but not in this! This is good. Ohh, but that last chord is a bit off.
Nice tone, but the tempo is WAY too fast. All the subtleties of the polyphony are gone because of that. It's being conducted like dance gigue. Needs to be performed with much more delicacy and sincerity.

Molto intonato il coro, ma il tempo di esecuzione troppo veloce rispetto alla partitura.

The acoustics of the place makes it sound really bad because the echoing clashes really badly :/

A little too fast, but an excellent interpretation otherwise. Clear, non-vibrato voices are critical for this piece.

It's a little too fast. Also, I think it would be better with more dynamic contrast.

secondo me il maestro dovrebbe legare di più e rallentare un po, per il resto buona esibizione

MMMM so many false relations i think i may need some time to myself to recover lol
