  • Aron: How can we contact, we are very itnerested in your idea of separating bitumen from sand using ionic liquid process? you can reach me at sheenenergy@gmail.com

    Peter H, thank you.

  • Thank you Penn State et el. This tech is a gift to the world no matter the price.

    Canada

  • What 2 idiots didn't like the video??

  • but Aron, can you develop a technique to clean your soul of the guilt from presenting continued global warming as clean.

should you want to repent then speak out against the use of fossil fuel and join us in light and aerodynamic electric cars powered from renewable electricity.

  • @DanFrederiksen Grow up.. Are you driving an electric car every day? Is your family? I bet the short bus that takes you to school is running on diesel... Very little electricity is from Nuclear or renewable sources. 100% of marginal electricity is from coal, natural gas, and fuel oil. Electric cars are toys. Hydrocarbons are the best fuel for transportation.

  • @MichaelMantion even when it runs out..?

    google peak oil.

then you should google global warming (and if you say that's something al gore made up I'm going to be unkind)

  • @DanFrederiksen Do you drive a car that uses gas? does your family? Im all for bio diesel, but I am not against tar sands either. If this makes producing oil from tar sands cheaper and easier I am all for it. Its better then ethanol. I first heard about global warming in the early 80's from a guy called "Ray Cycle", I still have his comic book. Anyways I've studied the subject mater and could care less about "global warming". Im more worried about running out of drinking water.

  • @MichaelMantion The electic cars, see battery swap sysytem and this ionic liquids clean oil sand methood are great and are the way forward to end oil addiction from nasty states. You know who I mean.

Each have their part to play.

So stop slagging off each other. These system are not excludive of each other but both are needed.

Please take a more thoughtful approch. There other even more exciting scientific devolpments happening apart from these. May reason science and logic guide your ways

  • @maccannaj Maybe someday electricity will be a effective way of powering transportation, that said it seems unlikey in my life time. I have studied the issue for many decades and hydrocarbons are simply the best. I don't care if the hydro carbons come from the ground, or made by algae or what not. (not a fan of corn based ethanol though). We should just travel less, till then. Resources should not be wasted on electric cars until battery and power generation technology improves.

  • @MichaelMantion To say "powering transportation, that said it seems unlikey in my life time."

Check out Betterplace It is happening now!

Stop slagging off everybody and do something positive

  • @maccannaj I checked out your better place, my original statement stands, electricity is no a effect way to power transportation. I assure you, I am heavily evolved in the process and there are much better ways to get around then using batteries. I'll Slag off any anyone I feel like. that said I was slagging the idea. Doing something positive is my goal, too many resources are being wasted on electric vehicles. Continued....

  • @maccannaj Natural gas and coal are the source of all marginal electricity production. Modern Natural gas power plants are 40% efficient at best. More electricity is wasted getting to your house, toyour outlet, throught he charging unit and into the battery. then the battery drains slowly. Although electric motors are extremely efficient, the whole drive train and extra weight of the battery make the care even less efficient. Chevy spent billions of our dollars producing the Volt. Contiued

  • @maccannaj The Chevy volt was a mistake, the battiers and complex electric/gas drive train will fail. Chevy won't make a penny making a volt, and wasted billions on R&D. A CNG car would fuel faster, have better range, be lighter, roomier, simpler, cheaper, more reliable, more environmentally friendly, use 0 gasoline, with superior performance and comfort. CNG would of been better then the Volt. I prefer bio-diesel from algae, but that is another story. Chevy wasted billions on an epic failure.
