So much power can be extracted from an LS engine before forced induction. Chevy's Corvette engines are truly the best, and not enough attention is given to their excellent design. LS6 gets nearly 30 mpg highway with 400 HP! If that doesn't say something about accomplishment, I don't know what does.

How would that help getting out of snow? Let's see...snow is slippery, kinetic friction is lower than static friction, so how would spinning the tires really fast help? IT WOULDN'T. If you used the launch control to get out of mud you would only spin the tires, not move, and dig the tires deeper into the mud, thus getting you stuck.

Also there were many cases of people using LC that blew their trannys. It is reprogrammed for the shitty tranny but it will only help a little.

@TheOfficialKC well you still didnt read the manual or even look it up. what it say is when, if the driver is on a contaminated road, mud/snow, and the vehicle happen to swerve into a pile of snow or a hole of mud, the driver may activate the launch control to free the car from the situation its in, it does not mean you can use the launch control to get free out of a ditch or something, it means you can use it if 1 or 2 wheels got stuck in snow or mud... hopefully you see what the purpose is....

@Nismoleb89 Hey "dumbass", are you honestly still one of the retards that believes Nissan? Launch control is meant to rev the engine for power to get a good start. How would that help getting out of snow? Let's see...snow is slippery, kinetic friction is lower than static friction, so how would spinning the tires really fast help? IT WOULDN'T. If you used the launch control to get out of mud you would only spin the tires, not move, and dig the tires deeper into the mud, thus getting you stuck.

@Nismoleb89 I see you aren't very smart then, and very gullible. Spinning the tires from launching will only make you stuck more. So it obviously wasn't designed for mud and snow. You would know that if you have ever driven in either. So if it isn't for snow/mud then it is fof pavement. And if it is for pavement then its only purpose is LAUNCH CONTROL.
Also there were many cases of people using LC that blew their trannys. It is reprogrammed for the shitty tranny but it will only help a little.

@TheOfficialKC Nissan stated that the Launch Control is for situations where the car gets stuck or near stuck in mud/snow or whatever, and it wrote it in the owners manual. so i dont really know what your point is trying to make your self look more stupid? if the tires spin with the launch control activated, they will gain traction and sling shoot you out of the situation your stuck in, thats the whole puropse of it.

@Nismoleb89 So you know you are wrong about launch control and you know the transmission is crap. So why do you keep saying the GT-R is so good? Give it a couple years and you will have to spend $20k on a transmission, putting it at ZR1 pricing. So I would rather have a more reliable, faster, more fun ZR1 than the shitty GT-R.

@TheOfficialKC listen kid, go look up the owners manual of the GT-R, and look up some videos showing how the launch control works in mud, gravel, and snow. in the owners manual it states that using the launch control in an unnessesary situation will void the warrenty, and the black box in the car records all the info needed to see how the trani failed.. now you are seriously saying that the trani is crap?? does it break on the track?? did it break when running the nurburgring all those years? no

@TheOfficialKC look this info up. when you do then we can talk. it doesnt matter weather it is mud, or snow. the AWD will give the car more traction, and the launch control will allow it to break free out of the situation where it skid and got stuck in a snow pile or a mud hole. thats the purpose.

@TheOfficialKC well you still didnt read the manual or even look it up. what it say is when, if the driver is on a contaminated road, mud/snow, and the vehicle happen to swerve into a pile of snow or a hole of mud, the driver may activate the launch control to free the car from the situation its in, it does not mean you can use the launch control to get free out of a ditch or something, it means you can use it if 1 or 2 wheels got stuck in snow or mud... hopefully you see what the purpose is....

When you are in sand/gravel and give a lot of throttle or drop the clutch you will spin the tires, dig a whole and get stuck. I have been there. When you are in mud the same will happen. I have been there. When you are in snow you will spin the tires and not move. I live where it snows. The only thing that works is very LIGHT throttle.

@Nismoleb89 I wouldn't be so confident in the GT-R. So far it hasn't managed to beat the ZR1 or the ACR. The GT Malans are all carbon fiber with corvette components down to the suspension. twin turbo LS2's with crazy aerodynamics and ridiculous handling.
