The Consumer must pay for any tax on carbon.

The consumer creates the demand and use the products that make it profitable for BHP to go and collect the natural resources.

BHP does not use their products for personal use, they pass them into the economy where we all consume them. If we didn't demand them they wouldn't supply them, simple as that.

This is incredibly stupid. They may be a greedy multibillion dollar international company, but you know who's paying for them to dig up coal and burn it? Everyone, including the knob jobs at Greenpeace. The carbon tax is a stupid idea and will probably never work. But if it's going to happen then everyone would have to pay it. Industries and the public alike. BHP are no more the polluter than anyone else.

this is stupid. those "polluters" are providing you with things you need to live your life, and even to create this video. fair enough if you dont like the idea of rising prices but calling them polluters is pointless. how did the protestors get out in front of that train, in a car? made from steel?. maybe we should ban mining and we can all live happily in the dark ages.
