Do you sell the steam hose that you guys use when you retrofit/refurb the Sirena and/or do you have directions for someone like me so that I can fix a Sirena??? Love ya !
...(continued) I am boxing this unit back up tonight so i can re ship tomorrow, assuming i hear from your staff and recieve a return delivery thing. I would love for you to personally test and check out physically the next unit so i know i am getting as perfect of one as possible. I would also appreciate this to be overnighted. i am leaving on vacation soon and dont want it to come while I am gone. I cant believe i recieved two duds in a row with completly different problems. Please help me !!!
@inmanruss Hi there -- I can't really provide support via YouTube, particularly because I don't have any customer information to work with. Happy to help if you send me a message, but public comments aren't the best method to get assistance. Thanks! - Kat
Kat please help!! I just left a message at your shop as well. This has been a patience testing experiance. Last I posted a new machine was on its way...that unit was to arrive on the 2nd. on the 1st I noticed the tracking # showed it wasnt even in transit yet. Fed Ex lost it? A 3rd unit was shiped on the 1st and arrived today. This one had more problems. Physically it was in MUCH better shape! But again the temp guage didnt work. Even worse its electrics were messed up for brewing and steaming..
Thanks Kat. One of the guys called me back yesterday. My machine is already on its way back and I believe a new one is being shipped today. He was plesent and appologetic for the inconvience. I hope to get the replacement soon. Thank you for having a nice staff and supporting your product!
I got my refurb Sirena today from this place. On first use i have the famous puddle under the machine. if i listen close i can hear the water hising out of a tube inside. Also the tep guage didnt work and it filled with condensation because of all the moisture in the unit. I am crossing my fingers they do right by this....I did love the way it frothed milk. the next step wil be figuring out how to pull a decent shot. I have a Saeco dealer close i think, if they honor the refurb warrenty...
@inmanruss Warranty on refurbs is supported directly and only by us. Please call us ASAP and troubleshoot this with the techs, they will then repair/replace accordingly. - Kat
Great video! I just got this espresso machine and it has been wonderful however, I'm seeming to be getting a very poor shot. I used it without the rubber puck and that little plug thing, and the shot was pure black with no crema. After putting the puck and plug back in I got a better shot, but not what I'm used to. For the first time I am self tamping, and I'm not sure if I'm using enough pressure...also is it possible it's my beans and/or my grinder? I have a basic grinder & Sbucks beans. Thanks
@snakedoc1306 If you use the pressurization inserts, you'll get better results if your grinder isn't up to snuff. What type is it? It could be that it's not grinding finely or consistently enough, and the pressurization will help balance that but the shot isn't going to be phenomenal or anything. - Kat
@smartpartsionlover I don't know; it depends on what you're looking for. There is no blanket 'right choice' with espresso machines, just what's right for you. The Vienna is a great, simple superautomatic espresso machine -- not a lot of bells & whistles but will get the job done. Great value - Kat
@SeattleCoffeeGear Sorry, i should have elaborated more. I dont have a grinder so thats one reason i looked towards the vienna. and i herd things about certain hoses cracking and leaking. but i saw this video after i bought it. Thanks. And your store is awesome!!!
@smartpartsionlover The tubing and issues with the original manufacturing are fixed when we refurb the machines, so that's not an issue. However, the Vienna is going to be more of a one-stop kind of machine, and although you can use pre-ground espresso on the Sirena, it would still be messier than a superautomatic. They're very different machines so hard to compare, but I think, objectively, you made a good choice. :) - Kat

@ehgz1 We actually rework the existing parts and secure them better so no parts to be sold. - Kat

@KaltorRotis We will! Well, we started to play around with it but then moved locations and so it got sidelined. Hoping to get one up soon. - Kat

How does the quality of the espresso compare between this machine and the Breville Barista Express?
GoForThisWorld 1 year ago
@GoForThisWorld In my opinion, this has better temp consistency and the shot potential on this is better than on the Breville. - Kat
