Our police are OUT OF CONTROL in this country. That idiot cop DIDNT even try talking to the guy. He just went straight for an arrest...THATS BULL SHIT. All he did was refuse to sign the ticket...BIG DEAL its not required. *refused to sign* Its not even a criminal offense!!!! Its civil!

The cop made a mistake as he didn't actually need the signature, but Jared is an idiot for turning his back and walking away from a cop - while moving his hand towards his pocket. People shoot at cops and they need people to respond to their direction or they risk their lives.

well, the UTHP says that the cop could have simply written 'refuse to sign ticket' on the citation and sent him on his way...

instead, he escalated this to a life or death situation, and now hamstrings police with the knowledge that the next time they stop someone for a traffic violation, the driver may choose not to cooperate - and may very well be prepared not to cooperate...
