AMAZING GAME!!!!! BEST I have seen in a while. VERY VERY creative play with hallucinations, nydus, and spine crawlers. Incredible comeback by the zerg. He kept his cool, idk about the mass roach tech switch right after the spire was sniped though. Hydra den could have been put down much earlier, but the key aspect of his play was fighting on two fronts. Force a diversion and plan ahead. Perfect Play.

ArgOsZenith shows the potential of the zerg (who I often feel have a lack of early-game options) here but I feel it takes a master like him to really go beyond the usual speedling play and take advantage of the possibilities.

All of these zerg tactics work as well if not better against Terran. This is what happens if a good zerg player is not on the defensive the whole game. with 2 saturated bases.

Quick tips for protoss.

1. Build pylons all over your main base.

2. Make Colossi against zerg with stalkers

3. Use observers to kill tumors

4. Keep attacking don't go on defense with zerg, you'll end up like kyle here

1) Totally right. Putting pylon in smoke is a rookie miss.

2) Tough call. Muta is hard to counter with Colossi, but going Phoenix leaves you open to roach.

3) Again, great tip. This is the problem with going hallucination instead of obs. You give up the map control

4) Best point. PvZ strat should be Klingon all the way. "Reroute power from shields to forward weapons! Kaplah! Profit!" Only problem is those Mutas, making you stay in your base. Maybe cannons?

Ive always wondered y no one ever uses hallucination. seems like a very easy scout for a small priced upgrade. could someone explain to me y no one uses it??

@Xiofang usually you're only getting 4-5 sentries since you need the gas for tech, and in PvZ you need their mana for force fields.

@Xiofang I wouldnt call 100 100 a small priced upgrade. You can get +1 weapons upgrade for that and that is much more effective for your whole army. It takes ages to research, it cost 100 to cast which is half of a maxed energy sentry so its worth 2 forcefields even a guardian shield is cheaper to cast at 75. If you have lots of sentries then you can afford to cast it otherwise its not really that "cheap" considering what you are giving up to cast it.

Observers are needed normally anyway.

@TheBalefire I know that overlords drop creep and then he could spine crawler rush. if you look at 07:05 his troops are standing right next to a creep tumor before it spread so it's not hidden. He should have killed it and forced the queen to pull off and plant another since he broke the chain. Or am I wrong here?

@SilentlyNikki true, a burrowed creep tumor he was standing by spawned another one nearby right there, but it was just out of range of his units, and he probably didn't notice it because he was trying to warp units into the zerg base just then with the pylon and phoenixes. At that point he was still on the aggressive, so he probably wasn't too worried about stopping creep spread.
