Not really too poor to fly airplanes. Honestly, I've flown both Hang Gliders and Engine Powered airplanes and I believe that Hang gliders take far more skill as for you are completely un-powered and rely on your weight to control it. Sure it's cheaper, but either way, it's defidentally a more demanding hobby.
