I found deer motors at kindy's.com I ordered the bigger motors for the larger deer, they came in and seem to have nice torque. I will be building some new props this week end will let you know. They were 9.00 a piece and cost 10.00 to ship but got three shipped. The other site I used to get them from does not show them any longer so I thought I would pass it along. Happy Haunting
Great video,I been doing a free spookhouse for almost 10 yrs now, looking for more ideals on moving props, its hard to find free help/actors to help scare people,so im gonna try and use moving props to help offset the actors. Thanks again for the videos.
@mozon1967 I will do,,I made a hanging kicker today,,gonna try n make a electric chair prop tomorrow,,and a High Voltage Cage to hold my zombie this weekend.I will keep u posted, thanks again for the cool videos, keep up the good work.
Thanks trying to find cheap motors to run heavier props is hard. Thanks for the info and yes you are right thats what I was asking. I run my props off of sewing machine motor(axworthy flying ghost) and my leer, popper, and stiring ghoul off of deer motors.I want to do a see saw with skeletons and I need a low speed high torque motor or atleast I think I do. LOL . I need to take a course in small motors.so I understand them better. Thanks again, happy haunting
@karen936 Deer motors, they can be found around christmas or google them,,they can range about 10$ each,I been using wiper motors from cars,,They are heavy, and bulky,I plan on getting these deer motors and try them this year if I can find them local. Not sure how well they work, but found alot of sites that used them in halloween props.
@karen936 - Hey Karen936, I think you mean the motor for the flying crank ghost.... if so, it's a 7 rpm gear motor,120 volts ac...I don't know the torque. Bought it from Grainger. I don't believe this one is available any more though. hope this helps!
Sir, I would like to know where you got those hands, or even if you are done with the prop and ever wanted to sell them, I've been looking for that exact pair for about two or more years now?
@cooscounty - I think it was just one of the Halloween stores that pop up during the season. Sorry , wish I could help more... Radio Shack has a recordable module that can be used.
@mozon1967 - I'm currently turning my apartment into a workshop. That's why I don't have a roommate. My sons and I will start working on projects within the next month.
Nice work looks good.

Your props are amazing.

Your looks better than mine. I made one similar last Halloween but I didn't have a motor or glowing red eyes. Good job-thanks for sharing this.
