This is a ridiculous argument...but since I'm here. Canada enjoys does indeed enjoy peace and traquility, as well as its economic stability and prosperity. However this is due almost entirely to the fact that it borders the US. And no, America isn't perfect. But I defy you to name a country thats given a greater number of people the option to lead truly free lives.

@noncontradiction, it is actually entirely due to the fact that Canada covers an expansive area, and owns stake to a shitload of wood, oil, gold, etc. We are peaceful because we are better educated and there are seas bordering all sides except the side we share with America; being allies, this makes sense.
I would argue that your perception of freedom is the result of extremely heavy propaganda your whole lives (I get your stations I know), and [likely] not being persecuted for your lifestyle.

As quoted at the bottom of the article, many "experts" are doubtful of the methods used to rank the schools. I'm no expert, but it seems madly skewed. It's not hard if one predicts the outcome of certain variables, and uses their huge endowment to influence variable sets

@Tripbag At least I have a sense of humor. I have coded my own Image Codec, 3D Polygon drawing application with texture mapping, shading, Anti-Aliasing, Bi-linear, Tri-linear, Anisotropic filtering. My own sound codec. It isn't hard to do when you have a lot of time on your hand. I helped my father build a website, which is now an age friendly gaming site. I work at my local computer shop, repairing and restoring computers. And yes that requires soldering skills. I also do game consoles.
