@ericdxx ...hi eric, there is an 'original' melody (which i've rearranged) and the chords aren't direct from the hymnal. but the hymnal arrangement is also only an interpretation of the melody.

I went to high school with him. He was a year older. He was always a brilliant musician, I never liked him much and vice versa in school and he and I were not friends, but I was always the first seated during our HKIS talent shows to listen to him. He has improved and grown as a musician so much ! I remember his brother was always regarded as the star musician, but I think Mark grew to be a true musician. Simply amazing ! Mark, this was really really beautiful.

I am a direct descendant of William Clayton, he is my great-great-great grandfather. He was a good violin player and I love reading his journal that he left us, not to mention being able to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing a song so close to my heart, every time I hear the song sung I get goose bumps, I can feel my ancestors.
