  • I don't think any raptor can easily take a large house cat but I have read that great horned owls do. I have also read that they have VERY powerful gripping feet, as strong as a man's hand, supposedly. With sharp claws on the toes, that would make for a deadly grip.

  • was the camera strapped to your dick?

  • @LucasJodoKast Do eat with that mouth?

  • Eagles don't kill cats but they will eat a dead one on the road. They generally eat fish and small rodents, or they steal food from other birds like hawks.

  • Was this recorded with a toaster?!

  • EARTHQUAKE!!

  • Hey dog people, try having your dog killed by some animal. It HURTS

  • I give this vid a 9/10. Should have had "The Circle of Life" playing in the background :)

  • When you let your cat into the nature - it becomes a part of nature...

  • cats taste just like chicken

  • BIRDS RULE!!!!!

  • Gary?!

  • how ironic

in real life the bird eats the cat

  • fuck this video, you cant even see the fucking cat cower or seziure or even if its a fucking cat, what the fuck is the point, FUCK YOU

  • This was taken in Schuylkill County near Hawk Mnt. Later a Red Tail hawk actually flew in and chased the Eagle away.

  • what part of PA. ??..I live in PA. and i never see a eagle,,i see lots of Hawk's

  • My dad's neighbour had to hire a biologist to prove the bald eagle nest had been abandoned before he could knock down the dead tree in his back yard. The biologist found it was abandoned, but he also found 34 collars that he suspected were from cats (probably some dogs).

Now I don't know too many people that have collars on their cats, so I wonder how many those old occupants of that nest consumed.

  • THEY ARE SCAVENGERS PEOPLE! STOP ACTING LIKE THE EAGLE KILLED THE CAT! EAGLES EITHER STEAL THEIR FOOD OR EAT CARCASSES!

  • That's fish; most likely Pacific Salmon. A Bald Eagle's diet is restricted to fish, people don't know this; they're fishing birds, like Ospreys. Even if the Cat was dead, the Eagle would not have carried it off. They aren't carrion eaters like Turkey Vultures, they eat fresh live FISH.

  • @TheMrwouldyourather THEN WHY DO THEY EAT RABBITS?

  • @krisfrankie It could be that you're mistaking the Bald Eagle with the Golden Eagle. A Golden Eagle's diet is much more diverse, in terms of which animals it will feed on. Golden Eagles prey mostly upon medium-sized rodents, rabbits, and hares, but also on birds, especially game birds, reptiles, and carrion. Oddly enough, Golden Eagles stay clear of fish unlike the Bald Eagle. If you don't know what a Golden Eagle looks like, it looks almost identical to the Bald Eagle, but for the brown head.

  • Is a Space Shuttle launching at the start of the video??haha A pretty cool look at an eagle though.

  • that bitch is fucking huge.

  • The American way motherfucker.

  • My cat eats eagles everyday, sometimes when he's hungry he eats a bear or wolf, he even brought a killerwhale home one day from the ocean yeah he likes cathing fish. His name is Hooligan 18 years old and weigth 5,5 kg.That's my cat!!!

  • Lol.

  • It has become rather apparent that cat lovers are some of the biggest wacked out assholes I've ever seen on YouTube. Even when a wild bird in the wilderness kills a cat for food these people go nuts and threaten to kill the animal that was just acting on instinct.

    What a bunch weird-ass people . . .

  • @KE4RWS so your a dumbass?yes??yes!..i think no matter what animal you like they are the same so stop making blanket comments..you make yourself look dumber than you normally are.

  • @KE4RWS you got that right cat people are very strange

  • eagle will eat people when people died too. They eat everything when they hungry.

  • Bald eagles are generally opportunists-IE-they would rather scavenge then actually expend energy hunting. Soo very nice to see them in Bucks County, Pa!

  • That cat really loved America.

  • where you under fire? lol

  • hmm, i live in PA, ive only seen one eagle, it was pretty cool, it made a nest somewhere in delaware county

  • But isnt the eagle s symbol of american patriotism :P

  • sorry lol at the beginning of the vid i thought there was an explosion

  • Vengeance for bird kind!

  • This is why I hate eagles.

  • If that was someones pet, I would of shot that thing.

  • @SuperBigChug You wouldnt shoot anything. Mainly because youre just a 12 year old keyboard warrior. You wanna go to jail for a couple years because you shot a bird ? Think before you type you fucking dunce.

  • @PhillyPhunk

I was talking about the cat.

Get out of here you dumb troll.

  • that why i try and get a free cat there is allways some that is giving away kittens

  • FaiL cant see what its eating could be a fish pfff

  • like any american- that eagle tore that pussy up! hoo rah!!!!

  • When I came home from work the cat was laying dead on the road hit by a car. The cat was still laying there when I went back down the road to go to the grocery store. On the way back from the store we spotted the eagle, and the cat was no longer on the road, and after the eagle flew away, my kid went down to see what it was. At first we thought it was a fish.

  • @jnairn5432 damm thats crazy bro i wish i can see a eagle here in califorina lol . where you from ?? nice video

  • @jnairn5432 If you're gonna get eaten by another animal, might as well be a bald eagle, am I right?

    Patriot Cat.

  • How did you know that it was a cat?

  • I believe it when you say the cat was already dead. Not that an eagle wouldn't be willing and able to kill and eat them if they wanted to, but surprisingly they're primarily scavengers...or so I'm told. Only time I ever saw an eagle kill, it was one of those cow birds (egret looking things but smaller and all white) that you always see in open fields following cows.

  • the ones i saw in alaska looked like they could pick up a small kid.

  • @IalexxaI theres a video on youtube where eagle picks up a goat

  • That eagle could be eating a piece of dog shit for all we know.

  • lol, Extremely windy that day. What is really surprising is later the eagle was circling the area, and a red-tailed hawk chased it away.

  • was there a tornado on this day?

  • @VisionofOrion And apparently an earthquake as well.

  • Why do people act so stupid about their cats... I like them too but grow up and quite showing your stupidity. Their are other animals in the world. Respect them - don't choose over them.

  • im lucky my cats are extremely obese, they have no reason to go outside and destroy wildlife.

(You can thank me in a comment) XD

  • house cats do soooo much damage to native wildlife ..i helped outlaw cats from florida refuges and am currently trying to get some laws enacted to outlaw house cats from roaming outside without a leash same as dogs...they are non endemics and shouldnt be allowed to roam,i dont let my large snakes roam..or my dog...or kids..cats shouldnt be any different...

  • Im a cat owner and I agree with you. Keep em inside.

  • @PhillyPhunk So how does your cat get to eat grass if you never let it out?

  • uh.... cats are unlike snakes, and kids should be able to have some freedom once they're a resonable age. what's next? humans on leashes??

  • ya you are right a snake will usually stop at one kill a week....cats not so..they have no reason to roam free...dogs in most places are required to be behind fences or leashed..why not cats? dogs like to roam too..but they create havoc when allowed to do so same as cats...cats arent human so I fail to see the point you are making...Im lucky I have a pair of great horn owls out back nesting..you cant buy a cat around here right now..cats kill to much wildlife..period

  • i don't allow my cats outside anymore, and havent for years. but in my case, i keep them inside for THEIR protection, not for the protection of other animals. where i live, they're more likely to be prey than hunters.

  • well i live in a rural area and my cat loves going out he does his "business" in the neighbors yard lol. and visits some ppl. nearby, and occasionally finds a bird to play with cause once he came home and had some feathers hanging off side of his mouth hahahahaha, i said good kitty, good boy,lol

  • @debz12180 its people just like you that Im talking about ..let them mouse in the house no problem..but you admit to letting your cat shit in other peoples flowerbeds and gardens that they work hard on...and you think its funny that it brought home feathers from killing a native...thats cool for you but dont start crying a river when the fleabag gets what it deserves from its actions..be very glad you arent my neighbor =)

  • @zeeduk shut up you mental midget...be very glad your not mine you hick.....ill aim my at your head puffy...you people need to die..

  • @debz12180 Wow. Youre a proud piece of trash , arent you ? Keep your cat inside before one of your neighbors take care of him for good. AKA you get his severed head delivered to you in a box. No class loser.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes! Even Owls a foot smaller than eagles may attack and eat cats! All the more reasons to keep your small animals indoors.

  • I have three cats. They aren't allowed outside because of the eagles, fox, coyote and other predators in my area.If you let a small animal wander outside it's gonna be dinner sooner or later.

  • @Stretchmancando cats are supposed to be outside you dipshit. they are brought to humans in purpose of ridding the property of rodents.

  • @Stretchmancando Cats need to eat grass. Where does it get grass from if you don't let it outside

  • 'Sending more cats out to die'... W.T.F.

The average cat kills between 6 and 20 native animals every year; eating little if any of the remains.

You keep the cat in to protect the natives - not to protect the cat. Either way really, just keep the murderous, mutant felines inside your home.

Nature doesnt need, want or like them in the wild.

Fun Fact: Cats bring dead animals home to show you what a crappy hunter you are.

    Your pet just insulted you.

    Nice.

  • not to be rude, but i keep my cats in to protect THEM more than i do to protect the native animals, because i've lost over 3 cats due to cars and foxes. and it's in a cats nature to hunt. and true, they don't really eat what they kill, but that's not very different from people hunting for sport; and frankly, i don't think you expect every HUMAN to stay inside to protect native animals. and cats aren't anymore mutant or murderous than humans.

  • Again cats are animals humans are humans and for your info I eat what I kill unlike most cats ..I can see you are NOT a very good or responsible cat owner as you allowed yours out and they got killed...and yet you still want to allow them out to kill and maim wildlife?

  • Nilesrock024, you sound so childish trying to insult cats. Nature doesn't need want or like them in the wild? Well like George Carlin said, we too are a part of nature, nature is all around us.

I hate how humans have these 'animal wars', picking their favourite animal. So much for NATURE loving. Cats are a part of nature, even though they have become domesticated. Humans are the ones ruining nature, not cats.

  • yeah and then idiots kill the bear when a human goes into their territory for camping, and the poor bear has to get shot, not right!!!

  • I can hope it's a cat. =)

  • how in the hell you know its a cat? it could have been anything from a rat to a fish or carrion.

  • thats why i don't pay for cats in less i get it free i love cats as there out side but i some times they dont come back home then i look for another one now i know my be thats why there not comming back home

  • ... Or you could try keeping them inside instead of constantly sending out more cats to die.

  • @Goldbuns HAHAHAHA

  • that's cause you're a idiot who shouldn't be allowed to care for any animal, I hope your children have a better chance at your ignorance. You shouldn't let your cats wonder outside, I bet you don't even bother to neuter or spay. And if all you do is just replace a pet with another because you lost them, then you should not be allowed to have one in the first place.

  • it sounded like an explosion when the video started

  • lol hahaha

  • as long as they arent in caLI my chihuahuas are safe

  • Raptors are world wide...and chi chis are tops on the my dog got took by wildlife...unfortunately...

  • man that sucks

  • suck?????

  • dumass

  • for your information-the cat was already dead and laying on the road earlier in the day. The eagle carried it down to the pond.

  • and you will get caught, and get assraped by the skinheads with big eagles tattoo'd on their chests.

  • "cats are awesome"

That's only your opinion. Of course if an eagle ate my chihuahuas I'd be pissed too. But an old stray cat I don't give a shit about!

  • Killing an eagle is a federal crime. You can't even be in possession of an eagle feather. You kill an eagle be prepared for some hefty time.

  • First off its against Federal law to kill eagles so good luck there and when and if you get past the third grade and you hopefully learn how to spell and get some education as to why animals eat each other then maybe you can comment on things you dont know anything about..I dont mind people having cats but they need to be responsible for those animals and their actions...they DONT NEED TO ROAM..period

  • cat are man made as far as domestics go..and its people with no brain in their head like you that are causing native species to become extinct..domestic cats are not natives and have no business killing our native wildlife..we have native predators that can do that just fine and its a balanced thing ...cats cause imbalance in the way of things as God had intended...as far as the Commie thing goes I served in the USA military have you?so...STFU

  • Yes I have served in the Military as a 19K Armor Crewman and yes you sound like a commie as I quote you "STFU". Most commies dont believe in free speech. Im just speakin up for cats cause it seems like everyone on here thinks they shouldnt be outside, they are animals that should be able to explore nature so if someone wants to let there cat out on there property that is there right but unlike you who sounds like a commie probably doesnt believe in property rights.

  • If you were smart and I can tell by your spelling your not ,you wouldnt allow your precious cat outside as its bad for their health ..lots of dangers out there as a lot of the other sane people on here have spoken up too..there are loads of statistics on the net but I wont waste your time as you wouldnt look at them anyway,besides..you probably wouldnt understand it as most of it is in big words..if you want to see the truth its out there good hunting..please spay and neuter your cats

  • omg!!!!!!! shut the fuck up u stupid twit

  • lmfao!! did you REALLY say twit??

  • i used to have mice traps as i live in a 150 year old house, since i got my cat 5 yrs ago dont need a rat trap and have not seen any mice in my home lol.

  • why do you say period at the end of your sentence?

  • To stress the point.."domestic "cats do NOT belong out doors...

  • dont be so stupid, that eagle could of just as taken down a deer that kitty was first to come along now dont be such a moron ok???

  • @nolanie922 and you are a moron for letting small pets outside when birds of prey can get them easily

  • @nolanie922 Id rather a bird live then you.

And you can't shoot hawks or eagles, its illegal.

  • @nolanie922 uh it's nature get over it

  • @nolanie922 I am very sorry to hear what happened to your dog. I live in eagle country as well, and seriously, I warn friends away from getting dogs small enough for eagles to swoop up. I don't want to kill all the wild animals, but I certainly remember and respect that they here and I must always mind my pets. Condolences for your loss, I cannot even imagine how horrible it must feel.

  • @nolanie922 srry about ur chiwauwau but eagles a so much cooler

  • @nolanie922 eagles are a protected species. Dogs are not, sorry about your dog but if you go shooting eagles you could be fined up to $10,000.

  • @nolanie922 So because a predator instinctually killed its pray, you will brutally murder every single one of these beautifal creatures?

  • Wow where in PA was this? I know bald eagles are making a comeback here.

  • There are some birds that cats just shouldn't go after.
