I used to do this, I was playing as an Afghan police (which was more like a commando unit, than a police force) and we fought alongside the United States Marines.
I had a lot of the Afghan role players dislike me because I took this very very seriously, and had multiple Marines pat me on the back telling me I did a great job, and being noted for it, and so they'd get jealous for it :-/
But oh well, they sucked, I succeeded (^_^)

Well as far as I can remember, men don't kiss men in each others face like that, but it is common for the women to do so (the kiss each others cheeks without kissing) but for men it's hand shaking, sometimes if it's an older person, be it man or woman, they do kiss the elders hand after shaking it, but this is something I noticed they dislike too, because I believe Islam forbids it
Yeah the magic carpet music was over the top, and just cliched,but the training was terribly hard
In War games, Its pretty much blank rounds in the weapons. It sounds like a real bullet being shot but it isnt. The wepons are also equipped with laser. Imagine playing laser tag with real guns that just make sound and the vest the troops are wearing are monorting the shots takin in and critical hits. It lets them know if they are dead and stuff. The tanks and apc's are equipped with similar stuff too. Its just a big game of laser tag for training purposes
The training of solders is sometimes called "War Games" not War its self. In a war, people get killed. In a training exercise, its fake, OK. The Topic of this piece is Training and not combat its self. There is Reality and Make Believe.
@pena3d This is fake? Have you actually been to twentynine palms or do you just post shit, go there and you will see there is nothing "Make Believe" about twentynine palms, and it is the largest Live Fire Range in the US.

nope no airsoft, we have blanks or use simunitions which are paintball like rounds in a 9mm casing. n lasers (miles)
