Police Commissioner Ray Kelly admitted yesterday that the NYPD had taken its eye off the ball when officers did nothing about a suspicious van parked in Times Square for two days.

That security stuff/rules is getting way out of hand. If someone/somebody really wants to harm, they will and try their best. Nobody can predict everybody's move. This bring the word: "Paranoid" to a hole new level. I knew that the van had nothing to do with terrorism. It's the city for crying out loud. 24/7 hustle and bustle.

Doesn't hurt to be careful.  Because it turned out to be nothing, they look foolish. And if they check out 100 vans and look foolish 99 times it will be worth it for that one time that they thwart a terrorist attack.
