I've bought mine when they first were made like 10 or 15 years ago.I caught them on sale at Wally World for 9 bucks so I purchased three of them.I'm still on the first one I didn't think they were built very sturdy but man I was wrong.I use mine constantly around the house and it goes with me on every hunting trip.Also the blades that came with it are still sharp as ever,
@xBangergoosEx in the early 1900s a man named mr.gerber(cant remember his first name haha) who was a sales man was doing quit good with buisness and sold lots of different things. one day he came up with the idea to ask some blacksmithes to make him some knives that he could sell and they sold really good soo he just kept going with it and there you go gerber gear was created. and this all happend before the baby food haha.
