Well, I was 13 when I started making DS homebrew, yes. Now however I'm 16. I was 14 when I made this video.

Well the game was coded in C, using devkitpro. First of all, you should probably learn C; i don't really have any tutorials for this, but i'm confident there are lots of them available if you do a little research. The same goes for DS-specific programming using libnds. ;)

I'm very happy that you have so much interest in my game. :) However, as you can see in the video's description, it's a Work In Progress version from 2006. Yeah, that's old. Anyway, the game has been released since then in a few different forms. The latest one was released in the beginning of 2007 and is called Orange Desert Challenge, which is a very, very simplistic FPS in which you shoot people and "explore" a labyrinth.

It was also released as Orange Desert Online which is, as its name indicates, an online game. However, as I have previously stated here, the servers have been closed permanently. Anyway, there is no point in playing these games now. At the time, I was very satisfied of what I had managed to achieve, but let's face it : the game has a crappy framerate, the maps are flat and all only use a total of 3 textures, the enemies are dumb...The whole is just uninteresting. You're better off playing quake.

and the enemys might b bad but they are 3d if u can try and copy the source and add these features it would b fanrastic especially considering im making doom3ds ;) im in search of an engine like this

but if u dont have the time or interest then i understand u dont want to make an engine its ok
