    /watch?v=LCJF74V6jVY

    happy post-mardi gras lenten fest

  • and the telex machine is kept so clean as it 's switched to overload 2012

  • Really good interview.

  • They should make a soundboard out of Roger. Imagine the prank calls?

  • caught waters a cpl years back in london, fuckin' amazing live show..

  • WHY DIDNT HE ASK ABOUT WIZARD OF OZ?

  • Boy, I can really relate to Roger. When he said that people always leave him, that's how it is with me as well. Hearing his lyrics and music really remind me of myself.

  • By far the best RW interview I've read or heard. I think he appreciates Sterns cheeky and confrontational nature.

  • Was at the wall concert in Homebush stadium 2 days ago. Fucking awesome night come back soon Roger!

  • Roger rocks!

  • Stern is a sad guy who is obsessed with DICKS (because he doesn't have one) and MONEY (because it's the only thing that will get him a woman).

  • 18:31 is when i knew this interview was fucking bullshit

"youre a good looking dude" who the fuck thinks Roger Waters is a good looking dude?

The questions were horrible..You have a legend in the studio and you cant stick to a single fucking topic...its a shame rly

  • ROGER SPEAKS SO HONESTLY THE MAGIC LEFT WHEN ROGER LEFT ,,WRITING SONGS

  • good interview

  • ERRRR hate to tell you this, but amnesty international estimate the total losses at over 500 000 people... and this means we killed more inocent people than Sadam did.... go figure.

  • great interview, thank you very much for posting this

  • Great interview.

  • its great to hear Roger off this guard and not talking about war. Can't wait to see The Wall!

  • Howard S king of stupid questions!

  • Howard is a scatter brained interviewer Roger is in your presecence shut up!

  • when stern actually gets a great, KNOWN guest he's the best.

  • lol fuck that teacher

  • How would you feel as the fan who got spit on on that fateful day?

  • @Harlequinnowl If I were the fan, I'd wait a couple of decades for eBay to be invented and then sell the spit wad.

  • I love Howard Stern, and I love Pink Floyd. That being said I think Howard could have done a little bit more research before the interview. It's well known that Waters and Gilmour have buried the hatchet in the past few years. Howard never asked about Live 8, and how his relationship with his former band members changed. He never asked about Syd Barrett either. Howard is not a hardcore PF fan, and I get it, but he could have done better.

  • Thanks a lot for uploading this. Great way to spend an hour, i could easily have done another two. Great interview just one question missing......

Are you going to do another album roger?????

  • this may be the best interview ever

howard asked a question i would have if i were him at 7 minutes till the end

  • This is an awesome interview. Both of them are having a good time....as did I, listening to it.

  • Love it whenever Waters flips out

  • Stern "Roger Waters is here"

    Cunt Hole Robin "AHHHH"

Stern " can we take a break? I need to get my notes"

Way to go retard howard....get your fucking notes. And let Hole Robin go "oh..ahh. yes..hmm" till you get back with your notes.

  • Fucking great interview!

  • ....I noticed that Howard Stern just couldnt get himself to ask Roger Waters what his views on the Israeli Occupation of Palestine were

He asked him just about everything else - including the length of his penis.

    I wonder why Howard?

  • @Alchaeon1 Because Howard Stern isn't that kind of "journalist". If Roger wants to talk about Israel again (which I'm sure he's been advised by his management, friends, family, etc. not to do) he can call Wolf Blitzer or something.

  • Waters says the Irag war was a waste. I wonder what the Kurdish Iraqi people think when Sadaam Hussein was taking their family members and hanging them by the hundreds. Hmmm, I think most retards forget that. But 440,000 people gased by Chemical Ali ( Sadaam's Uncle) in 1988 doesn't need to be mentioned. Oh well.

  • Great interview

  • Fantastic interview

  • Loved this interview, love Howard/Roger... But the best Pink Floyd stuff for me is the David Gilmour stuff!!!

  • I just uploaded a hilarious Stern rant about the volatility of the stock market from last year. Youtube won't let me put the link here but its on my channel.

  • Roger the greatest live shows and the greatest song and sound maker

  • Rogerrrrrrrrrrr the grrrrrreatest

  • On must see Roger's show before they die ,,and Roger is the only artist we have with some serious balls ..and his views on all subject are the greatest ,,,

  • Love Howard, Love Waters... But for fuck sake, they have met a few times before and they don't even know what they do??? Howard thinks that Roger Is a guitar player and Roger thinks Howard is a journalist??!!!

  • Hey.... OOHHHHHHH!!!!! KEEP IT REAL UP IN THE FIELD!!!

  • Who the fuck is Roger Waters???

  • @anvilofcrom You can go back to listening your Bieber CDs now

  • @farzaaam Oh, I get it...so funny.

  • @anvilofcrom "Who the fuck is Roger Waters???" - anviloofcrom ONE MORE OUTBURST FROM YOU YOU WILL GET SLAPPED BOY!!! Thumbs up this comment so we can all collectively shun this member of youtube.

  • @TubeYouUser123ABC I don't like Pink Floyd.

  • @anvilofcrom Lil Waynes uncle

  • Great interview. Thanks for posting this. Missed most of it last week.

  • damn that was in montreal where spat on a fan and got the idea for The Wall

  • People always go silent when musicians mention jazz. Why is it weird to Stern that Waters would appreciate Chet Baker? - The guy was a genius.

  • This is a fantastic interview. Stern doesn't stick to the politically correct bullshit that 99% of interviewers stick to. i.e., every interview consists of 90% of the same stuff. This interview has lots of new material. That Stern didn't know all the details about Roger and his career made it even better.

  • At least now we know for sure that the joint clipped to Roger's bass guitar during that popular live performance of Careful With That Axe Eugene was INDEED a marijuana/hash joint.

Roger has never admitted to drug use in the past, only that he drank socially. I think this is the first time he has ever admitted to being 'addicted' to hash for a few years.

DSOTM was recorded when they were all in outer space high on hash. Makes perfect sense now.

  • I have never heard Howard star struck like this. He sounds like a massive jackass here and there.

  • @derangius Dude the days of the obnoxious cross the line Howard Stern interviews are over. He is in his 50's now. You can't expect that type of interview anymore. I agree it's less entertaining than before but it's surely better than any other out there.

  • With all though respect of his music the guy is full of it

  • i have read and listened to so many waters interviews and the questions are always the same. i was not going to bother with this one except i love howard.this is by far the best interview. no question. insightful and honest and asked the questions i wanted to hear for decades. finally a peak into the psyche of the musical genius. fantastic!

  • @Christglen I think this is the perfect interview to show how Howard has an amazing ability to get people to open up during interviews on his show. I'm really hoping Roger comes back and does another interview. 99% of RW interviews are boring. Like he intentionally refuses to say anything besides the same ole stuff, over and over. This interview was quite unexpected.

  • @ALB123Videos Howard Stern is self possesed .... He is typical American consumer... and he does not get it,... he has no empathy at all.

I feel sorry for him. Rogers empathy contrasts deeply with Howard Sterns ignorance.

  • @pinkfloyd870 A) I don't think you meant to use the term "self possessed," as this expression denotes that one is actually in full command of their thoughts and emotions, not the opposite, as you imply. B) Your analysis is fair game, otherwise, but can you possibly qualify that by citing any examples as you why you feel this way? And yes, Waters is clearly a super cool fucking guy. Thoughtful and circumspect to the nth degree. Some would go as far as to say he's "self possessed."

  • @dataslul The self possessed term is directed at the fact that he interupts, and is more concious of the question than the actual answer.

Your comment that RW is self possessed is surprising, his empathy for others is well known, perhaps he is self possessed about his campaign?Which is for the benefit of others. his song writing is often a self examination, but that is what makes it so very special, and this is one of only a few people standing up against war. WTF happened to music??

  • @pinkfloyd870 Perhaps the terms "boorish" or "crass" may have been more applicable...He should have done some research, and perhaps he would not have wasted so much time on questions that have been covered recently, and stop baiting the Waters Gilmour split, after all, Gilmour ,Mason and Wright just carried on...Waters left, and expected the band to disband without him... just as well they didnt,

  • @pinkfloyd870 Amen

  • @Christglen Agreed, best interview I ever heard on Roger, but he has mellowed quite a bit.

  • @chestnui Can you imagine Howard Stern interviewing Roger when he was in his wild youth, with the same line of questioning?

  • @coopa97434 I don't know how much money I would pay to hear that interview...but atleast 3 grand

  • @Christglen Yes. Howard mentions that Waters lives in his building. They seem personal here as though maybe they spend time together. That may explain Waters opening up and being uncharacteristically relaxed. Their friendship may also be the reason why he's even on the show. Great interview.

  • This might be the best interview done on any of the members of Pink Floyd - ever. Stern. Damn go interview.

  • fucking awesome. Love floyd especially waters who is most responsible. Never learned anything about them persoanll, this was informative and engaging. I love robin but she was pretty terrible, especially her opening.

  • thanks so much for posting this! this is awesome!

  • @soula33 You're welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.

  • christ howard is an idiot

  • Great.... RW best musician ever

  • 18:31 "I knew you were going to do this. Fuck you, mind your own business."

  • @ironscentedwind yeah, I caught that too.

  • @ironscentedwind How great was Roger's response? Haha

  • 10:44

  • Superb to hear this, many thanks. Great interview with some very funny moments.

  • LOL at 16:00

  • Why doesn't Stern hire a researcher to check basic facts and ask intesresting questions. E.g. Mary Waters' politics and their influence on Roger etc.

  • Howard should have asked if Roger had the ambulance's siren and lights on for the whole Beirut trip.

  • What's he talking about? It's not just David and him! What, did he forget about Nick?

  • Comment removed

  • @Omweso He was saying that are still alive. Wright dies a couple years ago.

  • @briandrum1 I hadn't listened all the way through yet.

  • howard didn't even know what instument waters played. absolutly pathetic. WORST INTERVIEW EVER

  • TOO FUNNY!!! THANKS!!!!

  • nice

  • thank you

  • @mrdan7121 You're welcome...
