  • right now you have a physique that is more geared for fitness bodybuilding. ur not ready to compete in bodybuilding. need to spend more time to develop your body. if you want to go down the bodybuilding route, you WILL need to use drugs in order to compete with others. this is the reality. you need to get your diet on point as well. i like that you are so open to learning.

  • Just watched the new vid with the short hair and came back to this one to compare and justify my comment there. Yes, your strategy worked wonders. If I can make one more suggestion that is based solely upon personal preference and not upon prejudice. Lose the "thug" shorts too. They bring nothing to any bodybuilder; much less any man. (personal opinion guys and not intended as a hate magnet) They look like girls shorts in the olden days called koolots (sp).

  • You are one good poser! Just need to gain more muscle. Time will tell.

  • Good to hear your strategizing for the next comp, Grant. Your analytical skills will dovetail well with the training/diet aspects - and always take you, solidly, to the next level.

  • YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR TRICEPS AND LEGS, YOU NEED BIGGER QUADRICEPS AND HAMSTRINGS, ADDUCTORS AND ABDUCTORS ON HIPS, ALSO NEED TO WORK ON THICKNESS OF BACK,.......BOIL 8 EGGS A DAY, EAT THE EGG WHITES, ........

  • @simpletruths10 thanks man, i think my hamstrings need to develop first to catch up to quads, and ill egg the whole 8 eggs :)

  • i can definitely see increased thickness in ur chest & back. besides eye contact, u should moderately smile throughout ur posing -- much like ur doing at moments in today's posing. but ur posing is also so much better, much smoother movement between poses! definitely looking good. 

  • @bigdaddy71355 yes for sure man i looked pretty good in this video for the moments i was proudly looking at the camera, gotta learn to keep those facials through out the whole posing, and thanks the second contest really opened up my eyes even more for posing

  • @grantflip yeah, the idea is to project positively to the judges. whatever makes u feel best will best allow u to show confidence. confidence, though, should really come from all ur hard work. just check out ur first posing vid to compare-- it really is striking how much better ur chest and back look.

  • This is very interesting... I am not a body builder, more of a muscle fan but I enjoy this reflective video, as you give us the background info on a competition and on your natural bodybuilding progression- including your preworkout and post workout meals... keep it natural and keeping it real - thanks!

  • @133trevor thank you, ha keeping it natural wasnt even the plan but it just worked out like that, but now im deffinetly keeping it natural, only thing is i will eventually buy more whey protein, thats it
