  • his low E was flat

  • @0v3nm4n who cares

  • @Casazza5595

Just sayin' oh great internet warrior

  • Hah! Let the bass player do the low notes damnit....Drop C tuning is over rated. If you wanted to play bass, then do it.

  • hey can anyone tell how he is muting the strings when he arpeggiates all six strings?? probably he mutes the high strings with his monster pinky..

he can actually arpeggiate full chords on overdrive with so less dissonance

  • i dont know why i do that but it seems to work

  • @2:14

Andy Summers is my favorite guitarist.

  • That practice for the 1 down , 2 up sounds like boldero fire from Zelda ocarina of time

  • Now this is how great a well-tuned guitar sounds like.

  • Did he... did he just say The Edge is amazing? 2:13 o.o

  • I love the last motion !!

  • Love your t-shirt Paul. Seriously though you are my favorite guitar teacher of all time, bar none. Keep on keeping on!

  • 0 people dislike it...how amazing:D:D:D

  • I think its very interesting to note that instead of Paul trying to be super innovative with a lesson or showing off how amazing he can play, he backs up and really closely examines his own technique and what he just does naturally and then explains what it is and why it works well. "Attention To Detail" is probably one of the highest items on my 'things I've learned from Paul Gilbert' list.

  • Voting is for old people

  • i dont know why i do that but it seems to work. << damn

  • So well spoken..good teacher..

  • when i warm up my right hand... oh boy.

  • His rhythm playing is probably like the very best lead I can come up with. T.T

  • 3:18 that scared me a lot

  • yep hahah it does sound like that: "What kind of Idiot!.."

  • What other guitar hero would admit his idiosyncracies? Paul is nothing but cool!

  • Whenever I watch Paul I just wanna give him a big hug. His enthusiasm for guitar gets me excited before I start every practice sesh

  • I met him yesterday. It was the best day of my life.

    Then I woke up.

  • @asdfcrow I honestly had a dream exactly like that before, i was pronounced clinically depressed once i woke up because i realized it didn't happen.

  • he seems like he would be a kickass musicteacher in regular school

  • Good guy this guy.

  • I swear at the begginning of this video he was about to say What Kind of Idiot... I was waiting for a rant.

  • @SuperCalvinScott

Paul never rants lol. He's too chilled.

  • I love this man ..

  • Love the t-shirt haha

  • Gosh, Pauls random progressions sound better than my songs.

  • @DillonBerkley ^ - Slash

  • @pskibobby Hahahahaha!

  • @DillonBerkley Paul's been playing for far too long and knows too much about playing guitar to have "random progressions" as he calls them and that's why they sound better than all we mortals can play!

  • @ZePortouga I think by random progression he was refering to improv sort of? Who knows haha. It's Paul Gilbert. It needs no further explanation or it will hurt your brain badly.

  • @DillonBerkley same lol

  • @DillonBerkley it kinda makes me wanna give up guitar

  • @MCLemonyfresh Hey man don't think like that! It inspires me to get better and practice more.

  • 2:35 I swear he started to sound like Bob Marley
