I think its very interesting to note that instead of Paul trying to be super innovative with a lesson or showing off how amazing he can play, he backs up and really closely examines his own technique and what he just does naturally and then explains what it is and why it works well. "Attention To Detail" is probably one of the highest items on my 'things I've learned from Paul Gilbert' list.

hey can anyone tell how he is muting the strings when he arpeggiates all six strings?? probably he mutes the high strings with his monster pinky..
he can actually arpeggiate full chords on overdrive with so less dissonance
