I just completed skyward sword and do not feel like playing it again. It wasn't that fun to play. On the other hand I have completed super mario galaxy several times and still feel like playing it again.

I sold this game, after i beat it. I WANT IT BACK! I loved the level design, the music, and i even liked luigi. I remember my fight with bowser. After the first part, i already knew i had to fight him a second time, cause my friend told me. And, he was down to 1 hp, and he came to punch me, and right before he did, i SLAMED that ball into his head. Ahhhh memories

GOD, THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! While I do praise the the level designs (and difficulty) and Yoshi's (slight) expanded role in the Mario games, THE BOSS FIGHTS (except the second Bowser Jr. fight) SUCK AND TO MAKE THINGS WORSE THE FINAL FIGHT WITH BOWSER RUINED THIS GAME BECAUSE OF HOW ANTI-CLIMATIC IT WAS!!! *sighs* This game made me question my faith in the COMPETENCE of the video game industry because back when I was a kid, the bosses posed an ACTUAL threat and challenge and now they're jokes.

throwback galaxy was perfect for world 6. As soon as the game showed slight signs or repetition BAM! You get a massive nostalgia hit and the excitement is back on track. I wasn't expecting that surprise and I played through it with a large grin on my face the entire time...

@amitchameides My explanation is Bowser has CCTV cameras set up in every galaxy and over the world map, then when a new planet or galaxy appears Kammy teleports the enemies to the planet/galaxy.

@amitchameides Maybe there were microbes and fungus on him when he was a luma, so when he became a planet they evolved into goombas and other assorted nasties.

I like this game but parts of it seemed too much like the original, like the dino piranha boss and the breaking of crates with the fireballs was too much like blowing up trash with the bombs. I didn't enjoy that the first time, and the time-based prankster comets were more of a pain this time.

I personally found the solar system maps and the station from the first game immensely preferable. Also, Rosalina instantly became a favourite Mario character of mine, and they removed her extensively from the second game. While I undoubtedly prefer the first game, the sequel is easily one of the best games I own as well. The sound tracks for both are incredible!!

To everybody that thought that Galaxy 2 was the BEST GAME OF ALL TIME....I have to disagree with you. Not that Galaxy was terrible, it was FUN, ENJOYABLE, and it wass challenging (unlike most other games), but the hype about it is overreacting. The music was Pokemon-esque and to me, that show has come and gone by nostalga. This is like people saying that Assasin's Creed 2/Dead Rising 2/RE5 are major improvements when they are the saddest pieces of shit since another game.
