What I noticed is that when you entered the Labyrinth, you turned off the radio and flashlight and equipped the Great Knife. I'm not sure if it would make any difference, but try doing all the before entering the Labyrinth. Perhaps the lying figures caught you while both were on and that's why they still attacked you. I've never played this game, so I don't know if that'll make the trick work or not; it might just be a matter of difficulty level. *shrugs*

i like this ending better than the "in-water" ending. "leave" is a normal 'finished the game' ending. its interesting how they incorporated different endings for these games.

Maybe you have to have the flashlight and radio off before you enter the room, eh? Dunno myself, haven't played a Silent Hill, but that's about the only thing I could think of.

the only suggestion for the great knife trick is maybe to try it in the water portion of the labrynth. and maybe it'll work on an easier difficulty. i honestly don't know

Haha, probably so X) I honestly wouldn't mind Maria so much if she wasn't so baggage-y. Playing the Born From a Wish scenario makes her more of a sympathetic character.

When you were testing the great knife trick, I noticed toward the end of that segment that James had a very scared look on his face, like he knew PH was in the area.

oh silent hill and your puzzles. i've never gotten that great knife trick to work, but it may be because you're playing on hard mode. i wouldn't know but it would be a pretty cool trick.
