They definitely need too. If he gets 30-35 catches during the UMD game he'll get a good rhythm going and have at least 120 yds rushing.

Something James Davis isn't really known for...his pass-catching abilities. His QB got in trouble and he did the correct thing...come back to the ball and head for the pylon. Spiller gets the praise for catching the ball out of the backfield, but JD can do it also. I think the pro scouts will be surprised by this at the combine and it will boost his draft stock a lot come April! He's an every-down back, and I hope Clemson starts giving him the ball 25-30 times a game and let him be our horse!
