Terry Jacks was the origional singer, he had a friend who wrote this song to say goodbye to all the people in his life.. A kind of spooky song gets spookier because of this cover.. it's too bad that, if you listen, he is just messing it up on person.. or was high.. Kurt sings wayy better than this..

It's not written by Kurt, or anyone of Nirvana, they did a cover of the Terry Jacks version of a Jacques Brel song. However, Kurt put a twist in the lyrics and made it quite comical. A good cover.
