  • what was that tournament in the beggining, looked mad!

  • @911AmericanSoldier I don't know what else was taught at this symposium, but this counter works. It's used in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and sanshou. Most recently, Georgio Petrosyan has demonstrated its effectiveness at the 2009 K1 MAX World Championship. Note that since he is a southpaw, it's easier for him to use this technique because outside low kicks to his front leg come from the opponent's lead leg (not their power leg), but even an orthodox fighter can use this if their timing is perfect.

  • i don't think sanshou is a real style -- it's just Chinese "freestyle" fighting

  • @wnsk Its a real style lmfao. Its Chinese Hybrid Boxing made into sport and used in the army. Freestyle is what Sanshou means.

  • the first clip of him kicking reminds me of captain falcon uptilt...all he kneeds to do is the knee of justice and i'll be calling him C. Falcon

  • greatest teacher, he actually fights and wins, unlike other teachers

  • Lucky bastards.

  • who does cung le fight in the beginning of the video?

    His technique is outstanding

  • the first person he fought in this video his name is tony otero

  • those are lucky people to have trained with Cung
