well done i dont think i would have been able to play that with out the music one thing is the bow needs to move when like ff or pp and stuff but other wise try to keep the bow stright even with that WELL DONE!!!!
To me, it seems that Paige will speed up at a few places. Which is understandable! She's better than me! And I'm like, 3 years older than her! Although we have the same problem... our bows keep going onto the finger board! This great.
I am very impressed(: For only seven years old, she iswonderful. I'm most impressed with her posture. Her wrist correctly moves with the bow, which is something most of my highschool Chamber Orchestra sill struggles with. She plays with beautiful rich sound, and her trills were wonderful(: I am very impessed. Fantastic job!
very mazaing for this age group. She can already do some fibrato and very good string change and fourth finger good good. :) shell be good by the time she can actually do something with a musical career!
It is book 2. I'm sure she probably started learning violin only for a few months, so I think she did good. The 4th finger typically the weak finger, she will strengthen it up as she goes. Keep it up Paige ♥
There are a lot of different songs named Gavotte. This is Gavotte, too. Also, for some reason Suzuki doesn't suggest shifting for this song. But I learned it shifting anyway.
Great job! Make sure you isolate practicing the parts you don't have down real well. Start a measure (or two) before the trouble spots and use a metronome slow and work your way up (just try fast sometimes though).
i did that piece when i was ten and she is way better than me!

For seven, that's really good. I remember toiling with this when I was ten-eleven, or so, and it's still one of my favourite pieces.
Is she Suzuki-schooled?
