  • I'm not trying to pick a fight but I own a stud that ha bred top class horses and ponies and you can't really help where foals are born, yes usually see the signs and u can put the horse in a stable, but sometimes there's no signs for example waxing up it just happens where it happens no fault to the owner, beautiful foal btw

  • I have never seen a newborn foal so covered in mud!! I would NEVER let my mare foal in anything but a clean freshly bedded stall!! terrible conditions.....

  • Did you get iodine on that navel before this newborn ground his tummy in this muck???? You really should have at least given the baby a fair start and moved it out of that crap. I grew up on a farm and our animals all birthed in dry areas with the only wetness coming from the water breaking prior to birth. Thank god babies are flexible because this little guy could have really suffered some pulled tendons or muscles in this crap.

  • awww so cute and those ponies in the background are hilerious x

  • All the mini's in that back playing are hilarious!! Cute video

  • ahh! mud is slippery and i just woke up and i cant get up help mom! pwees!

  • Chickens: Just don't mind us we are just pecking aroudn you're foal.

  • non mais serieusement pk mettre un poulain dans un enclo a poule et boueux en +

  • You got to love the ponies going crazy in the background.

  • Reminds me of "Bambi"

  • bless he's like, "hmm, how to do this, how to do this, okay, it can't be too hard, just gotta, kina, move my legs a bit, i can do that"

  • That mud is probably from all the amniotic fluid that came out with the foal. It wouldn't cause any problems. Birth is messy (but amazing!) & has been happening outside in the dirt for thousands of years. Ask any farmer & they'll tell you that a lot of calves & lambs (& foals) are often born in the middle of the night, in storms, with no humans around to help. They survive!

  • How awful to let a foal be born in the mud! Your lucky if that one doesn't get tetnus

  • I don't think it was the greatest place for birth. The foal was laying a muddy spot, its not the best video, could have moved her to the stall.

  • The chicken was like ''hi hows going?''

  • it looks like the other horses are encouraging the foal! aww!lol!

its so cute how he spreads out!

  • cute

  • he's like "Hi mommy!" then he falls back. adorable!!!

  • @ about 1:31 the foal looks like the Breyer horse model, Le' Fire! Uncanny! Lol!

  • ahhh yahh so cute

  • I love the guys in the back doing laps.

  • lol cute chi kckens jsut cheeking up lol

  • This was a great video of a foal's first getting up. I see the horses in the background were celebrating as usual for a new arival. What a cute pony.
