I don't understand Tamil but I watched the Tamil version before I saw Hindi version and I have to say the Tamil version was much better because of superb acting by Vikram. His acting was convincing; whereas, Abhishek's acting appears very fake, like he is trying too hard to act. He's a good actor, but he didn't do so well with this role.
