After watching this I've decided to make my own snare drum. I've built 2 guitars before and so now I'm going to try this, I always wanted to build my own drum kit thanks for posting this video. Do you have any instructions on how to make a planer? ( I bought one at a store and it just messed everything up that it touced plus the blade got off and it cuts at an angle now...)

Also, great drumming and I love the look of your kit and it sounds beautiful very deep and warm with nice resonance too.
