When I was in kindergarten back in 1989, the teacher had an alarm clock on her desk that she would set to go off at the end of nap time. It looked like an oversized box of Crayola crayons. Whenever the alarm went off, the motorized lid would open and the crayons inside would flash different colors. I've been trying to find pictures or videos of it, but have yet to find anything.

Sweeeet. I remember I won a box of crayola crayons when I was in elementary school. Normally I hated those type of crayons, but crayolas had good quality. Not like the cheap and waxy stuff I used to buy. Sadly, I don't see crayolas anywhere nowadays.

Sadly, after the crayolas sat around for a bit, I got an allergy :s was sent to the hospital because of a burning rash. The smell of the crayons caused my skin to itch a lot and burn

I became insterested since I did have a mild depression from being bored of doing the same thing all the time (video games). Crayons are something I was really into as a kid. I miss looking at some of those specialty sets. I bought the largest set I could find of crayons, markers and pencils and bought a few collector's tins on ebay to get the 13 main discontinued crayons. The reason people cared more was because they were standard, not specialty. Can't wait to check out the pastels next.

The My World Colors was my favorite set ever! I had a Lion King coloring book when my mom got me those crayons. All the various browns and tans were perfect for that book. Of course don't have the box anymore, those crayons got used up a long time ago!
