ROFL...I thought this was serious. Nice build...but no where NEAR supercomputer status. Granted this thing is 3 years old now... My i7 2600k would toast this, but I'd never be as heinous as to list it as a "supercomputer".

today. 8800gts 50-100$ , core 2 duo 100-170$ , asus striker 100-140$ , sound card (dunno what one it is but) 100ish , and ddr 2 is cheap.. 4gb high end stuff 100-120$

total 600-470 , without case flashy stuff and power supply. but thats the main performance stuff

a nice case with 100000000 wires and a blue neon doesn't make it good....its about the performance...i do like the case A LOT....but id rather prefer the performances instead of sweet lookin :)

@Pharmit24 that, also if you have a good system you can run multiple screens. so lets say one has a game on, the others have applications or internet and all that, more of a network. but i just want 2 monitors. and with GPUs now days with there own memory and cpu they run faster and games are better

That is NO supercomputer dumbass. The G4 was promtoted as a supercomputer becuase It could do gigaflops but that defition was outdated, its about 10 years old now. Supercomputer are now ranked by there ability to preform terraflops or A trilion FLoation Operatations Per Second. Which your little coreduo cannot do. The G5 Super computer at Virgina Tech takes a little over 2000 computer to achieve that. Its takes about 970 duo Intels for. You do not have a supercomputer.

Macs play all Windows games, Detroit. All of them. Boot Camp and OS X Leopard. But, I guess you didn't know that. Also, Macs are made with solid materials, and they are major workhorse computers. On top of that, Macs can get more done in less time. No way a PC Clone will ever compete with a Macintosh in design, aesthetics or capability. There's too many flashy, plastic, Windblows driven PC clones out there with fireworks. You can tell that door is plastic, too. Not built solid like a Mac.
